NBRI supports other Ph.D. scholars from other universities as well by partnering with them. Other than that students of post-graduation who are interested in high-end research can also enjoy a training programme. The disciplines are Biotechnology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Phytochemistry, Bioinformatics, Agricultural Sciences, Agronomy, Floriculture, horticulture, Tissue Culture, Agronomy, Biochemistry, Botany, Life Sciences, Environmental Sciences, and Management. CSIR-NBRI does not conduct campus recruitment as it only offers Ph.D. programmes. Research scholars at NBRI are fortunate enough to be a part of the institution.

Visited nbri for a science festival (IISF 2018).Visited their well maintained labs were some interesting research works are going on. The botanical garden present here is the India's largest botanical garden, and it was mind blowing. It had numerous different types of plant spieces and they were from all parts of the world. It also had some of the world's rarest plants which were unbelievable.I've attached few pictures too, and one of it named 'welwistchia mirablis' (you can see it in the below attachment) is one of the rarest speciest which only bears two leaves and has a lifespan of a thousand years!.A must visit place.

A large, green research area in the heart of the city. It also has botanical garden for morning joggers. I did my research work there and found the place very green and peaceful. There are variety of trees and flowers grown there. The area is too big to be covered on foot. Research labs are good and hold good reputation.

Very calm and peaceful place you'll find in the mid of a chaotic city, pollution free... At some places it even replicates a forest which makes it more beautiful. And off course for biology students this place can be a fun learning hub. But on exhibition days, only exhibition sites are available for the visitors, nothing else (apart from the exhibition) they can visit, and exhibitions on certain days of winters too are worth a visit. Being a biology student, I personally liked it a lot. Great place.
