It has to be developed by WB government, even after such a importance it's not been developed at all, it's been taking care by one family and the temple is inside their house only, roads are pathetic and there are sand mining going on....

This Sati Peeth is situated in Kogram of Burdwan district of West Bengal. As the saying goes the Elbow of Devi Sati fell here. The name of the Goddess is Devi Mangal Chandika. The name of the Bhairav is Kapileshwar. The road to the temple is on the sharp left after passing Natunhat bus stop. You have to take right from the main road on to a dusty village road without any camber. There is a decent parking spot available just in front of the temple, large enough to accommodate 4 hatchback easily. The temple remains closed from 12 noon to 4pm.

A small pretty temple deep inside a hamlet approachable by a narrow road. It is the Shaktipeeth where left elbow of Sati fell.

This is one of the Sati Pith (সতীপীঠ). The mandir is maintained by a trust. The people's are so good. Although the temple is not situated besides the road. You must have your personal vehicle or need to hire a TOTO.

Operating time: 9am to 1pm and 3pm to 7 pm.

You don't need to pay a single rupees extra at temple compound for puja. Please visit.

I,am starting with my pranaam to Maa Mangal Chandi and I am no where in a position to rate and review her abode but most humbly, I must say that the mandir is very well maintained by the priest generation after generation. The temple gives you a sense of inner calmness as you come in contact with the Goddess and tryst with nature. My request to all, whenever you have time do visit Maa Mangal Chandi. All glory to the almighty Maa....

It is one of the sacred place of sati pith, the sacred place to be blessed with the grace of Ma Mangal Chandi. Here the prasad of the presiding deity must be presented with a fish Curry. It's a place of spiritual healing.

I visited this holy place two months ago. IT is situated near Natun hat. You can travel by car .It is just 4 KM far from Natunhat bus stand. You can book Toto for the journey. If you want Annavog , you have to book early as possible. Environment of this place is pleasant and historical also. Poet Kumud Ranjan Mullick' ancestral house is just beside the temple and Thakur Lochan Das's temple is also beside the temple.

The right wrist of Devi Sati fallen here and the Bhairav is Kapilambar. The temple is just beside the bank of Ajay river in Kogram of Burdwan district in West Bengal. The temple used to open everyday from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm and 04:00 pm to 8:00 pm. On Tuesday and Saturday the devotees of Devi generally gathered here to pay their homage to Devi.

You can approach the temple from Guskara station which 16 kms far.

My journey was different, I came to Kogram after completing my visit from Khirgram (Ma Yogodya) which is 22 kms away from Khirgram. I have taken the route from Khirgram to Kaichor then headed towards Katwa and taken first left hand turn (which is hardly 200 metres from Kaichor crossing) towards Natunhat and from there you have to take Guskara road, after crossing a bridge just take right hand turn on a kachcha road. Nice road with fabulous beautiness of surroundings will definitely give pleasure to your inner mind.

My next destination is towards Bahulakshidevi Mandir the another satipeeth under Burdwan district.
