Moti Daman Beach

A beautiful black sand beach near the Daman Lighthouse. The area is well illuminated around and is a nice place for evening leisure.
The promenade is beautiful and has host of activities for young and elders equally. The area lies along the delta point of River Damanganga over Arabian Sea.

One of the most beautiful beach in Daman and cleanliness is much above the par. There is so much bliss and peace there in the morning that you can feel like you are in different place. But in evening, it might get crowded. I love this beach

One of the beautiful beaches I ever witnessed. So calm so elegant. The best time to go at this place is in evening. Sunset is so spectacular at this beach.
The black sand and the pink sky gives your eyes an immense pleasure, a worthwhile to visit a place like this in Daman.

The beach is comparatively clean, and the side wall has been constructed recently which is wonderfully designed. Although the shore is a bit steep and it’s not usually advised to step in the water, but you can visit for it’s amazing views, click some good photos and have some bhel sold on the beach by local vendors.

This is the only place I loved in Daman. Beach water is bad across Daman but the beach was good. Have almost every type of water rides. The best place to visit Daman.

It is very good place for evening time in Daman. Usually it is crowded in weekend. Good parking space for two wheeler and four wheeler. Best place for evening walk and hangout in Daman. Beach is newly developed with good road, parking arrangements, some landscape, newly constructed small Archies for clicking good photos. Lighting looks good at night.

This is a very beautiful beach, the atmosphere here is just perfect. I would advise you that you can come here for a walk.

It is no doubt the best beach in Gujarat India, with clear blue water and so the sky. A memorable sunset experience and stay on the edge of the beach makes it wonderful. About 3 km south of Moti Daman, the Beach is sandy and safe for swimming, pleasant spot with casuarinas plantation on the sea shore, where one can commune with nature in sublime solitude. One can walk on the soft wet sand with golden tinge right into the sea during low tide. The beach line is broad and quite serene. The sea here is free from undercurrents and dangers. Horse and camel riding is also available at the Beach....

Currently beach and beach side area are clean but it's also public responsibility to keep clean area.

After the development many tourist also like to come there. There is a beach resort #TheFernBeach which is luxurious tent resort.

They've redone the whole beach and it looks pretty international.

Great place to just sit snd unwind, watch and enjoy the happenings around you. Excellent place to spend a quality time with your family and friends. The beachfront is made very well and it’s looking like a great tourist attraction. After a day’s visit to Daman, I strongly recommend this place to relax and unwind.

Daman is the city of twin forts, each built on the opposite banks of Daman Ganga River at the confluence where the river merges with Arabian Sea. Although the forts are in urgent need of restoration, a walk on the streets inside them gives you an experience of the bygone era. Many original Portuguese buildings are now converted and used as government offices, but their original architecture is still intact. The buildings are painted in Mediterranean pastel colours like Ochre, blue and pink making the whole area pretty. A walk from the land gate to the sea gate of Moti Daman fort hardly takes 20 minutes, but I would suggest turning into the bylanes to check out the pretty houses with thatched slate roofs. The construction of Moti Daman fort started immediately after the Portuguese conquest of Daman in 1559, and continued till the end of 16th century. The fort is protected by a moat (that is now dry) on southern side and by the river on northern side. The main street that runs from land gate to sea gate has many barracks of defence personnel and a memorial marking liberation of Daman by Maratha light infantry in 1961 resulting in inclusion of Daman in mainland India.

The Portuguese built a lighthouse for their merchant sail ships that used to arrive on the coast of Daman in middle ages. The old lighthouse needs restoration, but a visit to it is worth as it gives a whole spanning view of Moti Daman, Nani Daman and the beach. The beach known as Jampore beach.

It's beautiful now because they developed such things on Beach so you can go with your family because on Beach they not allow to drink alcohol
