The long road drive is smooth but with lots of speed brakers to halt and go! On both the sides of the forest road, you can find lots of animals like different types of deers, monkeys, Indian gaurs, birds and ofcourse the insects and bees buzzing sound! If you are lucky enough, you can find the rare animals like tiger, black panther, cheetah and snakes in the side of the road itself!! There is jungle safari trip, maintained by the forest dept., the jungle safari drive taken inside the forest is a great experience but please do consider the risks as the forest inside doesn't have any good roads so it will be jumping so heavily!! Caution for pregnant mommies!! Any senior citizens and any physically challenged persons must think before taking this drive!!
Private jeeps are also available for rent, inside this forest (rental jeeps are bit costly)!
For local and international tourists the elephant safari rides cost different prices. The mudhumalai road ends in bandipur.(Tamil Nadu- karnataka boarders). Bandipur is also like mudhumalai forest.
We are not supposed to park the vehicles on the road at any cause as it is not a picnic spot! Never feed any animals!!
Best trip with children as they can enjoy the live jungle experience.
There is a souvenir shop where you can buy mudhumalai memorable toys and clothes.

Mudumalai National Park is a elephant and Tiger Reserve in Tamil Nadine nilgiri district India. We could see forest animals crossing the highway on live. In the morning hours travel would be great and safe too. Verity of stay available based on our budget

Mudumalai Tiger Reserve safari is a memorable trip. The jungle is deep and dense. We have seen tuskar, indian bison, spotted deer, peacocks, indian paradise flycatcher, brahmani kite, plum head Parakeet, Sloth Bear, and leopard... It was successful trip. You have to book rooms online (to be on safer side) timing for safari is 6:30 to 8:30. Elephant ride is there at the same time. Everything is first come first served basis. Liked

This is one of the place for the Nature Lovers and for bike riders .This is on the way to Ooty from Mysore.
This is near to Bandipur National Park,which is located near Karnatak- Tamilnadu Boarder.You can go for Jungle Safari .But please do visit
in the morning time .Otherwise you won't be able to see anything.

Note:
Not safe to travel by bike in night time .As it is a elephant probe area.

Great place lot of deers and elephants with a grt adventure ride..But we missed tiger.. But nice place..Better get Jeep ride or gypsy ride..Bus ride is very normal..
