When I was visited the hospital I am really become a fan of its decipline, hygiene ,and quality work for ex defence and serving patients .
So onething is very clear its not for civilians its a dedicated hospital for defence personnel.
ECHS for ex employee and AFS Hospital for serving employees .
Each and every service is free for its members .
Rest hospital timings are depending on the rule of hospital and can be changed by hospital authorities so patients must visit before looking service hear .
Every patients must have to bring there id proofs .

-12 Air Force Hospital is a serving hospital in Gorakhpur for the families and self care of our soldiers(Army and Airforce).
-Emergency facility is available 24*7.
-Good and highly experienced team of doctors is available.
-Neary every equipment for different types of tests is available.
-Clean and spacious environment.
-A dispensary for medicine.
-All these facilities are free of cost for our soldiers and officers.
-No entry without helmet for both the persons (rider and the person sitting on the back seat).
-Must carry your ID proof.
-cost free parking available.

I am posted in Kochi, Kerala. But, belongs to Gorakhpur. Can you please tell me how to get avail the medical facility from Air Force Hospital Gorakhpur. Any type of permission is required from my unit.

Hospital is very good and all staff of here are helpful.

Best hospital for armed forces dependent

Should be definately a good hospital with a long history of serving people, as I was born here 50 years ago (Mar-1970).
