Wonderful place, relax and enjoy the temple view from far away. There's a road around the tank. Morning, Evening walk is very exciting..

We need such a pond in every town.... Instead of swimming pool... A hilarious place. You may see a large number , varsities of fish... The environment is also superb.

One of the largest water tank of India built two centuries ago by Queen Madambikaand. The water level in the tank is raised slightly above ground level. It covers an area of 120 acres and is fed by natural springs. The tank was dug around 200 years ago The tank is surrounded by deep ditches and earthen moats. During winter the area is haven to Siberian migratory ducks.

One of the important place to visit in Sivasagar

This place is just so beautiful, no traffic, there's shiva dol near of it, it feels really great being there. There are many ducks whom you can give food to eat. According to historians, the cave inside the shiva dol is connected to this pond. There are tons of fish as fishing is prohibited there.

One of the biggest man made pond in Assam also India.
