SGTB Khalsa College is a DU affiliated college in North Campus, Delhi. It is a Sikh minority college which means it has 50% reservation for Sikh students and the rest 50% seats are for general quota (OBC, SC, ST, all come under this). The college is famous for it's enthusiasm and alumini like Saurabh Shukla.
College campus is one of the largest in DU with a basketball court, 2 volleyball courts, a huge ground with cricket pitch and 4 flood lights, a lawn tennis court, a table tennis room, gymnasium, cafeteria, huge auditorium, a biological garden and 2 lawns. Classrooms are air conditioned which is a big relief in summers. In the centre of the college, there is a junction like area aka 'Jannat' which is a popular rendezvous.
Teachers here are highly hardworking and the crowd is talented too. There are around 3000 students and 300+ teachers in the college.
The annual fest of SGTBKC is 'Lashkara' which is a highly exciting function. Personalities like Guru Randhawa, Jass Manak, Karan Aujla show their presence in the fest organised in the month of Feb-March every year.
In a nutshell, SGTBKC is a highly underestimated college within North Campus. I expect it to keep proving itself in Academics and Co-curricular activities.

The college is named after the ninth Sikh Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. Always having a fun time here. Infrastructure is great. Canteen food is hygienic, tastes well and pocket friendly. There are lots of societies which you can join namely the debating society, the drama society, etc. which will help you gain a lot of exposure and equip great confidence. You'll definitely meet some of the craziest people over here who will make your college life memorable forever. Teachers are amazing and extremely supportive. It's the nearest college to Vishwavidyalaya metro station. Also, if you want to, you can always try out new places and cafes nearby at Hudson lane, Kamla Nagar market or near Majnu ka tila (Now you know the benifits of an on-campus college). It is considered as one of the best colleges of Delhi University. Everything about this college is just amazing (except for the annual fest). Thankyou

I came into B.A. (H) History course in 2019 and enjoyed the regular college life for a semester and half (after which I was in home for past two years taking online classes and exams). Before COVID, we enjoyed taking lectures (we got very good faculty) and enjoyed and participated in annual fest Lashkara in 2020 alongside visiting fests of other colleges. Now, we are back in February 2022 for two months before exams. Met some of the juniors of first and second years and interacted in person with our friends and teachers face to face after a long time which felt good. It feels quite lively in such a diverse environment.

Sorry for getting emotional, I would suggest the freshers from all courses to see Jannat (a open space in middle of college building) near library as a 'second home' and be away from the college canteen if possible (try fast food in Little Hut or Kamla Nagar if you can go a bit far). Library in terms of infrastructure is best but can't say same for books (responsibility lies with students never returning the books rather than administration). There are ACs in classrooms which will work in summer but I feel most annoyed by glass windows which can't be opened (we are coming in college now during transition from winter to summer and feel hot and suffocated sometimes). Overall, the infrastructure and faculty is good (talking about history). For DTC bus passes, visit window no. 5 with filled DTC form and verified fee slip or College ID card photocopy (hope that its useful for bus users including me). Lastly, I met a bunch of people a few days back who after hearing that I study in Khalsa College (Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College) asked me questions around that are you able to interact with Sikhs, cultural gap and stuff, if you have any such query, don't worry about it and it will be all good.

Thanks for reading my review and like if it's helpful :)

I did my bachelor's from this college and I can assure you that this college will provide you with the north campus experience of Delhi University that you aim for. Not only is the college's infrastructure and teaching staff significantly better than what the general public will tell you, the crowd (hopefully) is also very good and you will make many friends here that will annoy you for life.

It is my college in which I'm enrolled right now
One of the finest college in Delhi University. It has the best infrastructure among other colleges. Fees structure is bit higher than the others but they also provide facilities according to fees. It has a very large ground in which u can play all sorts of sports such as - Badminton, Cricket, and Football. It also has two seprate court one is for Tennis and the other one is for Basketball. There is a special place which every khalsite knows about known as (Jannat). It is the place where u can chill while skipping a lecture or having a fun time with ur friends. Canteen is very good with food on a negotiable price. There is also a new nescafe cafeteria which just adds another luxury in the college. Library provides you all sorts of books u need wheter it is of ur course or some other novels u might wanna read. Botanical Garden is one the quitest and peaceful places u can find in the college to spend some quality with ur loved ones for maybe with urslef. I guess this is enough to talk about khalsa i mean there is alot of things we can share but u should experience some of them by yourself.. Till then stay tuned and keep smiling. 😁

It's a really prestigious institution of learning. Nice experience overall. You meet really wonderful people here and learn and grow so much. So many interesting events take place here. And as the name suggests of the open area i.e.- Jannat - it truly is a calm paradise with so many things happening here. Basketball 🏀 court was under maintenance so not in good condition for now. It's canteen was a magical place where I have spent a really quality time. Would rate College Auditorium 7.5/ 10. So many memories with this place. And Gurdwara room is in good condition too. Washrooms were not in best condition but atleast had soap dispensers and toilets were not upto the hygiene standards. But drinking water 💦 was actually clean and crystal clear. So I would say it's say to drink. Drinking water stations are present in campus on smaller distances. Students from other DU colleges are not allowed in the Mata Library.

The best out of the best. Not that it's my college, it's also its strict discipline that maintains the sanctity. Very good infrastructure and usage of public property. And the students admitted here, known for the best public (students) . No kind of violence , smoking, drinkings, drugs or any other kind of activities have ever come to light.

Some of the many Reason's you'll face a tough challenge getting admission...

The Most Amazing College of University of Delhi.
Best Infrastructure, Laboratories, Faculty & Support Staff.
Loads of opportunities for young minds to aim the highest.
Reopening after Covid Pandemic induced closure after almost 2years at full capacity.
All Protocols are in Place.

Deserves 5 stars comparing with other DU Colleges.
Most classrooms have Air Conditioners.
Probably the only college with a higher female ratio (due to admission concessions to girls).
Sports infrastructure is beyond University level. You won't find such infra elsewhere.
Clearly the facilities are under utilised.
One last thing, in Khalsa college you will always people dressed and appropriately ready for some gala, even though that looks and feels great being around the formal attire people it also is a stubborn system and you can't walk in with flip-flops or be under dressed in any manner.
No such thing as raging here, the prestige in the crowd is too much to do something like that.
