Recently visited this place to try South indian food in @thambbi.veg . Its pure vegetarian restaurant.

Its hug place with lovely ambience & hygeinic atmosphere.

The filter coffee was perfect too . Absolutely loved the menu they have and the quality of food . It’s economical too . Sitting area could have been bigger other than that it’s must try place for South Indian cuisine lovers .

The dining hall can accommodate 50+ people at a time. Best place to visit with your family or loved ones. All staffs are very polite.

You can definitely come down with your family and friends and enjoy south indian delicacies! It was fun visiting this place.

If you’re looking for some authentic South Indian food in Thane then you must definitely visit Thambhi. I highly recommend their filter coffee and Thatte Idli. The ambience is warm and welcoming and prices are reasonable. Below are a few things we tried here:

I recently dined at Thambbi's Panchpakhadi Thane outlet for lunch, and it was a delightful experience. The dishes were light yet satisfying, and the affordability was a pleasant surprise. Their paniyaram was the tastiest, and the filter coffee stood out as the best in Thane. Thambbi is undoubtedly the go-to south Indian restaurant in the area. Highly recommended!

Awesome food and authentic South Indian taste! They have the best Mysore sada dosa that I have ever had! Also filter coffee was amazing.

Such a beautiful, cute & awesome restaurant 😍 Especially for South Indian Food lover like me 😋 they also serve Pav bhaji etc.

I had ordered Onion Uttapam once & I became their fan since then. It was so fluffy!!! Never had such fluffy & soft Uttapam ever 😍

And then visited the restaurant for quick bite, where we tried Sabudana wada & dosa. Both were excellent 👌 Will definitely visit again to try other dishes!

Food quality was best. Every dish had unique flavours & perfectly prepared. You can feel South flavors in every bite.

Although Thambbi has multiple outlets, my favourite one has to be the one in thane. You can go in any place and just enjoy thambbi foods.

And the breakfast was completed only after a wonder cup of filter coffee !!

I had the filter coffee and tea which is best seller of this place. The coffee was drooling, it's a must try.

My favourite dosa, Rava dosa is amazing here. Crispy tasty layer is just beautiful. I also had huge Paper dosa, Medu vada, Thatte podi idli, appe. The idli with gunpowder masala topping and Ghee was the best

In the end there was gulab jamun and lassi. The best one. A soul food is served here..

One of the bestest place to have a south Indian food. The service is up to the mark and the place is very clean and hygienic. The food is very delicious and the rates are also quite reasonable. Overall it is a very good place to have breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We had Kanchipuram Idli, Lemon Rice, Medu Vada and Podi masala dosa.
Service was a little bit slow.

Recently happened to visit Thambbi pure veg restaurant in Thane which serves some authentic south indian food .

The place has cute ambience and decors ♥. The staff is really friendly with the customers. Great hospitality we received.

Try their Andhra masala dosa and podi butter idli . Both items were really awesome! We also tried their sheera . The taste was really good. At last we tried out their filter coffee. It was really good

You can definitely come down with your family and friends and enjoy south indian delicacies! It was fun visiting this place.

Recently I visited @thambbi.veg at Thane to experience South Indian food. They have 5 outlets in Mumbai....

I tried some famous south dishes
1. Neer dosa with korma, sambhar and Chutney
2. Mini idlis with podi
3. Banana 🍌Pakora
4. Jumbo/ Long Masala dosa
5. Coffee☕

These are quite good in taste

Visited this hotel on a Saturday evening. It was occupied but we got to sit as soon as we entered. We tried the following:

1. Paniyaram
2. Neer dosa with podi
3. Lemon rice

All of these dishes tasted great. I especially loved the red tomato chutney that came with the dosa. The tangy green chutney that came with Paniyaram was too tangy for me. A must try place for South Indian cuisine.

We ordered-
1) Dilkhush dosa - Masala Dosa filled with veggies & lot of cheese.Again garnished with shredded cheese.
Loved the texture 🤤
2) Mini Butter Podi Idli- Mini steamed idlis roasted in yummy podi masala & loaded with lot of amul butter. This was totally droolworthy 💯
3) Filter coffee- Does this even need introduction??
South famous authentic coffee served in their unique way .

Food quality was above all & quantity was hefty. Every dish had unique flavours & perfectly prepared.

Mr. Kumar, the manager of this place was so humble and attentive person. He helped us in ordering food.
All other staff was polite & offered us quick service.

Overall a must try place if you are in thane for authentic south indian cuisine!

Wow, just wow! Banana chips is a must must try. Dilkush dosa justify its name. Genuinely Dil Khush hota hai. Filer coffee is good. Good ambience. Parking is bit difficult as it is located in a busy area. Must visit for good food.
