Fakir Mohan Medical College and Hospital, established in 2018, is a full-fledged tertiary government medical college and hospital. It is located in Balasore, Odisha. This college imparts the degree Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). The hospital associated with the college is one of the largest hospitals in the Balasore district. The selection to the college is done on the basis of merit through the National Eligibility and Entrance Test. Yearly undergraduate student intake is 100 from the year 2018. It is the sixth medical college opened by the Government of Odisha in 2018.FMMCH stands at second position after SCBMCH Cuttack in terms of Patients load and Regarded as Second most big hospital and college in Odisha according to Govt of Odisha. It is one of the preferred medical colleges among the new medical colleges, due to close proximity to the main town.

One of the best medical college of Odisha. The atmosphere of this college is very healthy and hygienic. The campus is fully free from raging. The staff of this medical college are good behaving nature and helpful. All types of facilities available in this medical college and all types of modern facilities and technology available here. This college is also a canteen facilities for students and faculty and staff and guests. The faculty of this college are highly experienced and educated. This is also a people loving medical college.

Finally after many years of demand fulfilled by the govt qs a medical college cum hospital. Its the new campus of the college. Opd facilities are not available here. As inly 3 years of studies have been done only. Many opportunities to improve as a educational institution as well as a hospital which can add values to balasore people's life.

Love this institution! Nice peaceful environment, good classrooms and labs, friendly teachers and lot more things.
Hostels and canteen food r very good.
College is nearer to remuna golai, so public transport is available.
Climate is also very nice.

It is a prime concern on the part of both Central & State Government to look after the basic need of the present day society so far as health point of view of general public is concerned. Many many thanks to both government to have an idea to fulfill the most basic requirements of the people of Odisha. And, it is my earnest request to state Govt. to start the function of this college for MBBS admission from the session 2018-2019 without any fail for the interest of brilliant students of Odisha to pursue their MBBS course from the session 2018-19. Thanks to the people of Balasore for their valuable and remarkable effort to start this medical college. It is my thanks to all the political leaders irrespective of their parties for such noble cause to have a Govt. Medical College in the District of Balasore.
