This is a very famous temple in Balasore, Remuna. Lord krishna 🙏🏻 worshipped here.

Easy to communicate with Priests and Temple committee members. U can easily get town buses from the Balasore Bus stand.

Lovely Painting and Statues of Krishna Avatar around the temple. Near and clean temple.

Sweets are the main Prasad of this temple: Rabri, Barfi, Soan Papdi, Laddu and other sweets are famous here. Local people are so friendly.

A large Pond is there at the side of the temple.

U can keep shoes outside with Rs.5/-.

Note: Photography inside the main temple is restricted. But U can click pics outside.

Kshirachora Gopinatha:-
Temple (Odia: କ୍ଷୀରଚୋରା ଗୋପୀନାଥ ମନ୍ଦିର) is in Remuna, Odisha, India. The name "Remuna" is from the word "Ramaniya" which means very good-looking. "Kshirachora" in Odia means Stealer of condensed Milk and Gopinatha means the Divine Consort of Gopis. The reference is to child Krishna's love for milk and milk products. It is Classified one among the 108 Abhimana Kshethram of Vaishnavate tradition.

*** Parking available

*** Prasad Sebana also available
I am not blaming the Prasad but quality is too much compromised as expected by a devotee.

Must visit for a feeling of divinity

Khirachora Gopinatha Temple is situated in Remuna. It is a little town located 9 km east of Balasore, about halfway between Howrah and Bhubaneswar in Orissa . The name Remuna is resulting from the word Ramaniya which means very good looking.
The nearest train junction to Remuna is at Balasore, which is the first major town in Odisha coming from Calcutta . One can get a night train from Calcutta that stops in Balasore in the early morning hours. From there one can get a taxi or bus to Remuna. If one has arrived Remuna in the morning, one can see the Deities and then catch a night train to Puri .
It is famous as Vaishnab shirine. Also know as Remuna Gupta Vrindaban.
The chief deity here is Sri Gopinath, who stole the sweet rice that was meant for ‘Madhavendra Puri’.  Here the visitors get to witness the other alters that are next to Gopinath, which are Sri Govinda, Sri Madan Mohan, Sri Radha-Rasbihari and the famous Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu; along with Lord Jagannath. The visitors also get to see a number of Shilagrams- Shilas.  The free standing Govinda and Madana Mohana were brought by a devotee named Chaitanya Dasa Babaji; here. He brought these from Vrindavana in the year 1938. Sri Gopinath is made by black Stone, which is flanked by Sri Madan Mohana and Sri Govinda.
The people or the visitors can easily get ‘Kshira’ here, which is popularly known as Amarita-Keli here. This Kshira is prepared with the help of condensed milk, along with some cream and sugar. Some raisins are also added into it; to add flavor. This is known as the prepared Kshira that was tasted by Lord Gopinath. The Kshira comes to the Lord in different sizes of eatrthern pots.

Old yet the most beautiful temple of Balasore. The life of the Lord Srikrishna has been depicted in a row of sculptures in the temple. It is so colourful all around. Puja and kirtan are mesmerizing.
There is a huge parking area for all types of vehicles.

Khirachora Gopinath Temple is the most attractive place in Balasore. This temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and is one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Vaishnavites in Odisha. The Khirachora Gopinath Temple in Balesore is a magnificent place of worship that is steeped in history and tradition. This temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and is one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Vaishnavites in Odisha.

The architecture of the temple is simply awe-inspiring, with intricate carvings and beautiful sculptures adorning every inch of its structure. The temple is made of black chlorite stone, which gives it a unique and striking appearance.

The temple is known for its unique offering of Khira Bhoga, a special type of sweet made from condensed milk, which is said to be the favorite food of Lord Krishna.

This is where the temple gets its name from - Khirachora means "one who stole milk" and Gopinath means "Lord of the Gopis". Legend has it that Lord Krishna once stole milk from the local cowherds and was caught in the act by his mother, Yashoda. In order to hide the evidence, Lord Krishna is said to have replaced the milk with dirt. Thus, he became known as Khirachora Gopinath.

The temple has a serene and peaceful atmosphere, and visitors can spend hours here soaking up the spiritual energy. The temple complex also includes several smaller shrines dedicated to various deities, as well as a beautiful garden where visitors can relax and unwind.
