Its such a peaceful tranquility amidst mother nature, and a visual treat for eyes. The 500m walk to the temple itself is so refreshing. You need to be there to experience in real time. Many people come here for picnic sort of to spend good quality time with friends and family.

People who studied Indian philosophy may not find anything spiritual here, but people who just believe in some story or the other can go through information board here that talks about an unknown person about 500 yrs ago who used to watch fellow villagers and keep them aligned on the right path.

The road from Lansdowne to here is very narrow and takes at least 1.5 hr to reach one side. Parking arrangements are there. Washroom is also there - though not much maintained. Rest you're on your own amidst mother nature.

The best place I visited during my trip to Lansdowne. This dham is about an hour drive from Lansdowne town and is surely worth a visit. It has such a calm and endearing appeal and vibe to it that you just feel so much at peace in this place and just don't want to leave the place. The dham has got a dharamshala too which can be booked if you call and reserve the rooms. The dham is about 500 metres walk from the parking spot. The dham is downhill from parking spot and is at the base of the mountain under the cover of cedar and pine trees because of which it is relatively cold out there.

Tadkeshwar Mandir is a beautiful temple with

Excellent place. Take the prasad from the village people instead of buying from the mandir start. Carry every valuable including Prasad close to you as a lot of Monkeys are there. The monkeys normally steal food.

Natural, hisorical, religious and peaceful. It was so worth to visit this beautiful temple at outskirts of the hill town. Better than any tourist spot around Lansdowne. It took 2 hours completely and roads were not that great at the end but it's easy to go.

If in Lansdowne and haven't visited Tarkeshwar Mahadev Mandir then your trip isn't complete. It would take you about 1.5 hours of car ride to reach here if you are staying in Lansdowne market road near Mayur Hotel. This is 1500 year old temple. Must visit. You'll love it.

Such a beautiful place. This Shiva temple is 600 years old situated between beautiful hills of Uttrakhand. One has to book a taxi to visit this temple from Kotdwar or Lansdowne. The whole temple is really beautiful. Please do visit for sure if you are coming to Lansdowne.

Nestled amidst lovely tall trees, there is a lot of positive energy in the area. A bit away from Lansdowne, 39 kms one way, but definitely worth a visit.

In the midst of strong fragrance and wafting yellow Color misty seeds of thousands of very tall deodar trees, this temple is a veritable ‘swarg’; it’s ashram a perfect place for meditating the divine.

The only words I can use to describe the experience are peaceful, nature and just amazing. The property is surrounded by green hills. It's crazy how something can be so beautiful. There is also an "ashrama" besides the temple where you can bathe in cold water and feel fresh. We also met a really sweet local there who helped us around and told us about the place's history.

Clam and peaceful. You can listen birds singing and wind noise. Very cool even in peak summer. road is in good condition however narrow. Two small vehicle will easily cross but if any truck or bus come from opposite side, it will be little difficult to cross.

It is a pleasant place where you feel very less stressed and your all anxiety goes away and a lot of people don't know the about the temple so I come with different pic that will tell you story about tarkeshwar .
Before going to temple there is a slight Trek of about 200 m and also there is presence of dharamshala inside and male and female kund to bath who is living inside and this temple also has a trishul tree in which there is presence of stem shaped in trishul which looks epic so go and make yourself stress-free

There is no ticket ~~ we just need to reach here. After parking the vehicle, there is a small walk to the temple. There is around 1KM of walk, but the pathway is amazing, vibrant and full of long trees
