A must visit place during stay in and around Landsdowne. It showcases the history of the regiment and its achievement. You get to see and learn a lot.

Tips: it is closed on Tuesdays. There is a lunch break of 2 hours (from 1 to 3 pm) during summers (visited in June). Cameras are not allowed and you have an option to keep it in the locker (free service)

✍Patriotism at its best in Lansdowne🙏👍. This is the second Indian Army Museum we have visited after Jaisalmer. Head straight to this museum to get a first hand experience of the tremendous valor & strength of the Indian Army over the years in the various conflicts & wars gone by. U get to visualize the history behind the famed Garhwal Rifles Regiment origin and it's conquests. U r bound to get goosebumps at this museum. Added to this u get to view the Parade Ground & shooting range. Still 🤔....No way... simply include this in your itinerary & u will instantly get into a gala patriotic mood. Off course a complete dhinaku, dhin dhaa experience & full patriotic waala paisaa vasool experience. Yes sir, capturing pics not allowed and your 📸 will be confiscated, so beware. 😘🥳😎👍👍👍👍👍👌💯

Nice place to know about the Garhwali Regiment. Photos are not allowed to be clicked inside the Museum. It shows the history and the tools used during the war including the notes/currency/flags/cloths used at that time. One can completely visit this place in an Hour. Just in case if you have time constraints

Place has a collection of very old and very interesting items with good documented details on the items. Various guns, awards from UN, musical band items, etc. Good place. They also have a video room with a good documentary. Make me feel proud about all this at least.

A great place if you visit to landsowne. You can view old guns, equipment and lots of many more things. Outside this museum is very good for childrens and young people can visit beat by places like thandi sadak with great mountain views. Do not feed monkeys or try to attack as they can harm you. Small park is also there with rabbits and pegions, children's will live this park very much.

Garhwal Rifles museum is maintained by GRRC and has ensured that the history of Garhwal Rifles is very well preserved. The weaponry is rare and rest of the artefacts also give an insight of the old times. Military history lovers will have a nice time exploring the museum.

Its located at a very beautiful & peaceful Cantonment area of Lansdowne in Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. Though the museum is too small but consisting of war memorials of brave 'Garhwal Rifles Reginentals' which is,indeed, proud of our country.
