This gate is on the north side of Jim Corbett forest.. it is a 4 hour drive from Ramnagar and the drive is through mountainous roads.
The safari is good from this gate.

I really liked this place, I saw few animals and birds only like 2-3 varieties of deer 1 elephant, a big lizard, owl that’s it.

I liked living in the jungle I would say it was a great experience.

But it’s better to avoid if you have small kids,as it is a jungle and any kind of noise can create an issue during safari.

There are no safety thing in case an animal attacks on you as the jeep is open.

Stay was good a cook was given to us and the people out there were really good.

Safari was good and the guide and driver were also good.

This is very amazing place place to visit to Jim Corbett. Can stay at FGH it will give you the amazing stay. Less crowded place .

Vatanvasa entry to Jim Corbett Tiger reserve from Kotdwar side. Less crowded and peaceful safari although lower chance to see Tiger but never expect to see all animals during safari.

Tiger safari in Corbett from the least crowded gate is possible here.
Tranquil surroundings and beautiful valley views of lower Garhwal.
Recommended for birding enthusiasts and backpackers as well.

Awesome place. Deep calm peaceful dense forest

You feel the greatness of Nature in its raw form, its an unexplored/untouched piece of Corbett. Must see for Nature lovers.
