We spent an entire afternoon strolling around the vast grounds.The place has a magical serenity that soothes the soul. There are a few shops selling Buddhist arts and crafts within the complex. A few cafes too serve freshly made food.
The temple precinct is beautiful with entire walls full of paintings depicting the life and times of The Buddha.

Mindrolling Monastery in Dehradun is a peaceful and beautiful place. The monastery has colorful buildings and a serene atmosphere, making it a pleasant visit for people of all ages. A must visit Buddhists temple in Dehradun. Please spare at least 3 to 4 hours to see all 3 places located near this temple. You can have some very tasty local food here. Though it's bit far from the city and hard to find cabs from here (coming to this place is no issues at all). If you are in Dehradun, must visit this place at least once.

This worship place also known as Buddha temple is also home to one of the largest Buddhist institutes in the world. There is no entry fee. This place is beautiful and clean. The premises has big statur of Buddha, the eight stupas withe meaning, Dalai lama' s car etc..The streets around the monastery are lined with Tibetan cafes.

It's a wonderful experience visiting Buddha Temple. Very peaceful and clean area, food facility available along with shopping at reasonable fixed rates. Monks and people taking care of the place are calm. It's just 1 kms away from my home and I have seen this place while it was under construction and now it's a Gem. You should visit once if you visit dehradun. There is no entry charge but a charge for vehicle parking.

One of best monastery I've ever seen. If you go to the dehradun, then I highly recommend to visit this monastery. It has big garden and gigantic stupa and statue.

Mindrolling Monestry is very neat and clean place as well as peaceful. The experience is unique and have no words to appreciate. As per my views everyone must experience the highness of this monestry. Buddha temple and Shanti Stupa in same Campus are very beautiful.

This is a serene place to visit. A huge area with calm environment. There are 3 temples to visit here. Even if you aren't a Buddhist you can enjoy the peace here and can meditate. The vibe is peaceful even on sunday. For entering the temple u have to enter without footwear. They have a locker for ₹3 per pair. No tickets for entry. But a nominal charge for car parking at ₹50. They have a huge campus for school, college, cafe, shops, temple and a lot more.

Typical Tibetan monastery. Interior of the monasteries are painted with the stories of buddhas. It's worth spending time going through these colourful images on the walls. They also have small statues of important Buddhist monks from the past.

It was a great experience at this Monestry. So positive vibes you can feel here. You can come here to worship and relax at this place. It is so peaceful and well maintained holy place.

Pious atmosphere and a most visit once you are at Dehradun. The shopping complex too has some great stuff at reasonable price.

A huge golden colour status of Buddha is astonishing ..
It's surrounded by beautiful hills ,forest and has stunning architecture with lush green gardens full of flowers and taken care with love and devotion.
When you enter the monastery, you feel calm and peace in your heart . There are soft lights and nice smells that make it feel sacred. The monks there chant in a way that makes you feel peaceful and present in the moment .
The tanka paintings inside are very delicately made depicting the many stories about buddha .
The beautiful statue inside the monastery are very pleasing to the eyes and blissful to the soul to look at .

The quiet and peaceful surroundings help you let go off your worries and feel connected to yourself.
There are good cafes all around and outside of monasteries .There are shops to buy suviniers but the things are expensive as it is everywhere in such Places .
There are always some people who are very unconscious .I would like to request all the people to please respect the space and place and not to show romance I'm public here (specially the young couples ).
