This place is really cool, beautiful scenery everywhere. Opens daily around 6pm, you can visit at any time but you are not allowed to do boating and all. Cable bridge was very good.

This place is fantastic. Musical dance of water is very good it starts from 6:45 PM to 8:15PM, this time can adjust from 6:15 PM.Kids play area also good but the instruments are not maintained properly some are in not working condition. Boating cost is ₹40 for adults ₹30 for kids, they are providing life jackets and following covoid protocols like sanitization of hands. Cable bridge construction is completed yet to inaugurate.

Was good place for jogging and everything relax

The views are stunning and the atmosphere is unbeatable. I look forward to returning in the future.

A very quiet place to have a peice of silence and of course fresh air the lakaram tankbund lake is very clean except for a few bottles and plastic pieces. A boat ride is very entertaining. The cost of one child in the big boat is 30 Rs and adult is 40 Rs. For the small boat it is 300 Rs. The 300 rs is for the speed at which it soars in the water. There is also a open gym for the people to exercise. The running track is almost 5.5 km in length.

You can walk and walk .. you can run and play .. you can exercise or just simply lay …

It’s always busy there but a one time visit is a good try !

It was good and cool place to hangout.. However parking is a bit problem here....boating should be improvised...and it would be great if rides were also added...

The newly-constructed tank bund along the renovated Lakkaram tank in the heart of the town has been drawing huge crowds even before its inauguration scheduled for February 11.

Thanks to the rejuvenation of the Lakkaram tank under Mission Kakatiya, the water body has sprang back to life after remaining neglected for decades.

The circular shaped tank bund of around 2.6 km length has further enhanced the scenic beauty of the environs surrounding the historical tank making it a prized possession of the town.

Almost the entire stretch of the tank bund from the entrance point to the boating point has been black-topped on a war-footing under the supervision of Khammam MLA Puvvada Ajay Kumar.

The tank bund witnessed a flurry of activity on Thursday as students from various educational institutions thronged the picturesque spot.

A cultural troupe filmed the enchanting surroundings of the Lakkaram tank and the bund around it as part of a promotional campaign for the ensuing 5K run to be organised on Sunday to mark the inauguration of the tank bund.
