One of the oldest railway stations of India . Bhandup pride itself as one of the stations prepared after first railway train was run between bori bunder ( near CSMT) and thane .

Has very rich cultural heritage ...I being a loyal Bhandupkar for more than three decades am seeing how Bhandup is regularly ignored by all our local and other politicians as well as govts both centre and state. Wish things changes for good in future.
