Krishnagiri Dam

This is a wonderful and serene place. Where you can enjoy sunsets and sunrise. Both are visible from this place.

Very nice and well maintained park. Entry ticket is Rs. 5 per adult.
Parking is available but is limited. Weekends are slightly crowded.
Overall a good visit.

Good to see as one day trip for family. Car entry 30 rs.

Day out with you family, one day out from Bangalore. you can take homemade food with you to seat under trees and have lunch as many people were coming with there family. there is space to prepare the food then and there. Good place to spend time with family and kids. Park is well maintained but people need to be responsible and should not throw waste here and there. View from the dam is awesome. You can spend whole day there. Play area for kids also available here. Fresh Fish shops are available here and there. You can enjoy fresh fish out there. try KPN frish fry shop near by taste is very good.

A good place for a day’s picnic with family. Go with packed lunch… plenty of shady trees under which you can have lunch. Children will have plenty of space to run around. You will get a beautiful view of the dam and the reservoir when you get to the bridge. May not be a good idea to visit during summer the place can get really hot.

Recently visited this Krishnagiri dam. This is definitely worth watching. It has a maginificient view. One needs to step up almost 50 to 60 steps to reach the top of the dam. It also has a park which is maintained well and a deer sanctuary for the kids to enjoy.

Really a good place for a one day trip.. Really enjoyed there and the place was really good and the nature and that fresh air while travellering was just cool....more than the dam the surrounding areas are really nature friendly....

Krishnagiri Dam: 5 ⭐

Once you enter the place, the watchman will take 50/- for entry and this place opens till 6pm.

Better carry water bottles, umbrellas with you whenever you visit this place.

Place is children friendly.

You can spend a lot of quality time here as there is full of park based dam. You can climb up the stairs and watch the scenic views of the dam. Make sure you have energy to walk complete bridge and this place is very old and maintaining well.

Once you enter the dam take left and go through the road water and park your vehicle and enter the actual dam through the park.

Very nice place and very beautiful park. Only issue is that the ticket counter in wrong place

Very good place for a day out. It's got all the good objects of perfect scenary: Water, greenery and hills.🌄

The park has many small beautiful lotus ponds, a small water channel where one can keep their feet and relax for sometime. It also has a hanging bridge 🌉 for a landscape photography.

It is advisable to go here during day time, as one can't witness the full beauty of the place post sunset.

Extremely scenic and beautiful Dam, must go for a day outing. NH 44 is beautiful road, you will love to drive if going by own car. You can spend 2/3 hours easily here. It has a big garden, not completely maintained but still enjoyable . once you climb up the Dam, you feel fresh breeze which you miss in Bangalore, you wont feel like coming down. Be careful with kids. Don't spoil or throw garbage anywhere. lets contribute in its maintenance in whatever way we can. I can visit this place again. Bring your guest as well, they will like this place.

Water in the middle of a huge rock. Almost all natural resources are beautiful.Peaceful place. Water sounds are good to hear.There is a facility for children to play in the parkIt's a good place to open up and talk. Nice place ...

very nice place. broad green park with the reservoir area. clean everywhere that's really nice. you can take homemade food with you to seat under trees and have lunch as many people was doing so. cool and clean place. the reservoir water is so damn clean. very long bridge to walk and take pics. wide range beautiful view. We took a side divergence before entering in main gate, that side you can go through the village area and go near to water lake. overall very nice place. so many food stalls are also there. ticket also less 5 rs per person. one day outing is possible from Bangalore.

Good tourism location in Krishnagiri. The Dam and the park are well maintained. The water flow from the dam is mesmerizing. The view above the dam is amazing. It's crowded during weekends, parking space is kind of less.

Like every place, even this has unexplored backwater spots. The view of Dam is much beautiful from backwaters. Suggested to go during weekdays as it is less crowded. Fish is very famous here. Can find lot of hotels serving tasty fish.

One of the best place I have seen. Very less crowded most popular for localite. Awasome view from every corner of the dam.
KRP dam is good picnic spot for family & friends. They have parking space for car & two-wheeler individually. Near parking space spicy fishes are fried & sold on the spot. Kids park is avaiable inside the garden area. we can have a walking around the garden. A pond surrounded by Radha-Krishna Statue has fish in it, we can feed them with arusi pori(they sell near parking). Even lot of crows fly around the garden, we can feed them with rice, biscuits & fish. They happily surround us while we have lunch..

It's been a crazy place to visit Krishnagiri dam,it's around 95 kilometres from Bengaluru , as you can see the pictures and the sunrise view at the early morning it's beautiful view point..
It's a mini kaniya kumari view point, bike can come to this point but car's bit pot holes Road suggest not safe for car's..

Excellent place for one day hangout neat and cleanly maintained parking is available we visited in July hence water was not there but its ok to visit place like this 😀
