This is arguably the best Biryani restaurant of the state (most definitely for the Bhubaneswar - Cuttack region atleast). The rice is too flavorful and the spices are never overpowering. The quality and quantity is worth it. Both the chicken and mutton biryanis are equally beautiful and they melt in your mouth. Would suggest to always go early to this restaurant to avoid the peak time crowd, especially during the weekends.

As of my opinion, this is the best place to eat mutton biryani. I mean you just can't complain. The food quality is so good which will make you drool and you won't be able to stop eating. The meat is so tinder that it will melt in your mouth and you will feel satifaction by spending money here. Really it's worth a try.

Biriyani is very flavourful and the motton is really succulent .I will say there is no artificial colours and ingredients used that's why biriyani is very aromatic and tasty. I tried the best biriyani.

My taste was just replicated by eating it's biriyani and kadai chicken. The taste was similar to Behrouz biriyani. Little bit crowded place. Washroom, basins and handwash are not satisfactory. But food quality and quantity was just awesome. I recommend to all do visit here and grab the taste of Biriyani.

We had biryani last time we visited this place. The quantity was really good. Like if one orders a single plate biryani 2 can have it easily. The taste was also awesome..

One of the best biryani i have ever had. Ordered the chicken biryani(half) and man the taste and quantity is amazing. 5 chicken pieces which is enough for 2 people. They also have quarter size portion. Mutton biryani is amazing as well.
And the raita is out of the world.

One of the Best Biriyani in Town. Well, no one can resist the sight of the aromatic and delicious Biryani. One of the best things about this is that it has several layers that give this dish, different textures, flavours and colours. With tender, juicy & succulent mutton pieces, it's the epitome of gastronomic wonder.

THE BEST PLACE FOR MUTTON BIRIYANI IN CUTTACK.
I have tried mutton Biryani at almost all the famous places in Cuttack ( the less famous ones also ) and I find this place's mutton Biryani to be the best.
Why is it the best? - The quality of the mutton and the way it is cooked. The taste of spices are absolutely normal and is not that extraordinary but the quality of the mutton and the way it is cooked is so delicious that it enhances the flavour of the BIRIYANI as a whole. If you are looking for a very spicy BIRIYANI or a BIRIYANI with a lot of masalas in it , then it might disappoint you a bit. But if you are looking for a BIRIYANI where each and every masala used comes out as a unique flavour of its own and the mutton just steals the show, then my friend, DFC is where you need to be.
Whenever I go , I always order mutton Biryani. Half plate of It costs ₹160 and taxes added it becomes ₹168.
Another great thing about this place is its pricing of items. The items are very affordable.
For example they also provide a quarter plate of mutton Biryani at ₹90.
All other starters that I have tasted are equally great. The chicken starters especially are finger licking good. And at a very very very cheap price. I ordered garlic chicken , half plate, it cost me ₹95 and had 6 pieces. I was overwhelmed.
It's a family restaurant. You can hang out with your friends too. Infact, the taste is so good, I often go alone sometimes when I get a craving for some good BIRIYANI.
The restaurant is moderately sufficient and I guess sits 40-50 people at once.
The waiters are customer friendly as well.
We once went as a large group, so they opened the adjacent khatti cafe for us and we dined peacefully.
All in all I would say it is a must visit place for BIRIYANI lovers. And a decent restaurant as well.

Biryani lovers this place needs to be on your bucket list.. Both Chicken and Mutton Biryani are priced the same.. Mutton pieces were properly cooked and the flavors rice gave was awesome.. Richness of the flavors could feel felt in every bite.. A must visit of every biryani lover ever born...
