It was a great place flourishing with nature. As vehicles are parked a little away from the temple so you need to prepare for a walk across the bridge and climb some few stairs in order to reach the temple. The place is truly filled with grear spirituality. You can find people doing anushthan and rudra abhishek all the time. The crowd, energy and the positivity flowing through the atmosphere will surely lit your devotion. Doing a parikrama around the temple should be a must. Food and prasad sevan was also nice indeed not something exceptional good or brilliant but it was not that bad. However its better to avoid drinks, ice creams and other snacks from the stores and shop along the stairs as the products selled by them is typically duplicate and the taste is really disgusting.

Jay Baba Dhabaleswar.
It is situated on an island near Mahanadi Rever. There was a hanging bridge but it is not safe to use now. A new bridge is inaugurated now, you walk through it and reach the temple safely.

Om Namo Shibay,
Dhabaleshwar Temple is one of the major Shiva temples in Odisha. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, the Hindu god of destruction. It is situated on an island in the Mahanadi River at a distance of 15 km from Cuttuck railway station. There is a swing pole here, but it is now closed to people due to its weakness, and a concrete pole has been built near it. The natural scenery here is very beautiful. It is very crowded during Badaosha and the months of Sraban. There are also hotel arrangements for an overnight stay on this island.
A Shiva devotee should go there once in a lifetime.

Dhabaleswar Temple is a very famous Shiv temple in Odisha. Dhabaleswar temple is widely known for its past story of an amazing miracle. This place is very crowded in the odia month of Kartik Month. This temple is basically situated on an island on the Mahanadi River. You can find a hanging bridge there which connects both sides of the river and the temple side. But after a recent bridge tragedy on a hanging bridge in Gujrat this bridge is totally prohibited for people. After the Gujrat tragedy the MLA of this area Mr. Ranendra Pratap Swain built another norman bridge over the river. The people visited here in kartik month is almost 50k or over 50k per day. So if you want to avoid the crowd and to save your time you can visit here between 4 AM to 5 AM in the morning. You can get peace and mental strength after visiting this place because this place is very very devotional. May this information help you a little. A must visit place from my side. Jay Baba Dhabaleswar... Har Har Mahadev... 😍🥰

The experience is utmost divine nd joyfull. The temple is situated in a small island of Mahanadi river. Now a new bridge has been built by government to reach out the temple since the hanging bridge has been barred by local administration for safety of people's.
Bike parking near the bridge - Rs 20/
Shoe stands near the temple - Rs 5/person
* Meals are also available inside the premises of temple which costs Rs 80. / Person.

Awesome place but there is no eco friendly parking place. The environment and surroundings are not well maintained. The govt. May focus on development and cleanliness surrounding the temple. Omm Namaha Shivaya 🙏

I am writing this review on 4th Jun 2023.
First of all, new bridge construction is going on and it's not allowed to go over the hanging bridge now. There is an alternative way(in the river as there is no water) to reach the temple.
And there are many specific priests (Pujari) based on your home location.
The place was a fully peaceful place for me.

Situated in a small island in Mahanadi river
To reach here you have to bring your personal vehicle which goes only to the parking area. From there you have to go by a bridge which is under construction.

For reaching here with public transport catch no 81 bus from jobra stop
It will return till 7 pm from there.

Go in early morning and spend time in day only
The island is very large and the prestine environment is there.

Great experience. Stay away from the beggers as they keep on following uh.
Donot harm the monkeys who come for food. Hide your own belongings or food inside bag. You can also feed the monkeys but with all precautions.

This place located in a island surrounded by the rivers and located around 13-15 km away from cuttack. No proper transportation available for this location, you have to arrange your own.
However bike parking place available bit away from the major location and you have to walk for around 1-1.5 km to visit the the place through the hanging bridge.
