Air Force Museum

The museum also depicts the culture of each of the individual states of Eastern India which is very informative and interesting!
There is also a souvenirs shop where you can buy few stuff for gifting items and a restaurant to eat some good food.

Good to visit once. Good information available about our Airforce, medals, badges, wars and various aircraft and lot more. Entrance fee is Rs. 40 and identity is required.

You need to carry your Identity Proof as the air force quater is nearby so security is strict.
Photography is only allowed inside the museum.

To be very honest, this was the first time that I visited any Air Force Museum and I was extremely happy to be there. It was a very proud moment for me as an Indian to see the various bravery deeds done by our soldiers. It was a very proud moment for us to see all the bits and pieces from history such as the liberation war images read about the gallantry awards and people who have received them for their extraordinary contribution to their job and immense love for their country.

This is an amazing place and there are too many details about the air force and weapons....
Also we can enjoy an aircraft simulator game only 50rups

Nice museum. Must visit for children to know glorious history of our pride air force. Nice display of our heroes, war materials giving knowledge about air warriors, jets, helicopters, weapons. It may surely generate enthusiasm among youngs to join Indian Air Force.

Beautiful place with tight security. One have to show their I'd cards (adhaar, passport) then only you can enter the museum. We feel proud seeing the pictures of our brave heroes and their braveries. Must visit

This was quite a good place, having shillong peak nearly and very close to elephant falls, can give a visit to know about the eastern air command history with Bangladesh freedom and mukti bahini history with photos guns and real and dummy aircrafts, fee is chargeable for common citizens while free for defence personnel,
