Kondapochamma Sagar Reservoir

I recommend to go early in the morning when crowd is not at all there(around 7 to 8). Perfect place to get away from city hazel and for peaceful weekend mornings. Check out my reel @m.vishwanadh_5401.

Water reservoir near to hyderabad at 60km towards karimnagar side. Beautiful view in the morning. Drawbacks - vehicles are not allowed onto barrage..

Actually it's gud spot and View points but Vehicle aren't allowed, you have to explore it by your own by walking, only Icecream, water & juice and some rosted corn available, to food court's available near by, and stay away from edges police will take serious action, Wich you good luck

About 60km from Hyderabad, a lovely place to visit with friends and family.

For now they have blocked the vehicles entrance on the top due to some drowning incidents in May'23.

I wish they had some sheds and seating arrangements at the top.

It was a very peaceful place to hangout with friends or even alone. You can sit and relax by enjoying the water sound and the wind.

Recommended to go in the early morning, I started from hyderabad at 5 in the morning and reached by 7. The road to this place is so mesmerizing, very beautiful if you are the one who loves roads covered with trees then you should definitely take a ride to here.

One of the best place to visit during sunrise and sunset. You will get a fresh air and nature with just 50km journey feom hyderabad.

Visit early morning or late while sunset, request not to litter as it's a good place and kept clean

It is a water reservoir which is spread across an area of 5,696 acres of land.
Canals were dug to move the water and necessary pipes and motors were installed for lifts. At Gajwel mandal, Akkaram , 6 motors with 27 MW capacity have been arranged to reach the Markook pump house through six pipes. 6 motors with a capacity of 34 megawatts have been installed at Kondapochamma Reservoir, which is built in a circle of 15.8 kilometers.
It is a huge reservoir surrounded by farms and fields.

On my visit the police had the gate no.1 closed and only allowed people through gate no.2, to reach this gate you need to take a narrow road so avoid driving fast as it becomes hazardous with oncoming traffic.

Parking is near the entrance gate and no vehicle is allowed on the road which goes around the reservoir. Be ready for a long walk if you plan to visit this place. There's nothing much around food wise, you'll find ice cream carts near the reservoir and that's about it.

Once you reach the reservoir you'll be under the sun the whole time as there's no shade to take cover. So make sure you pick a suitable time.

Don't go tongue twister name this place is utterly beautiful from a hustle life . You will also have a surprise to walk till the cliff of the water reservoir. Worth a visit on weekends 🌈🌊✌😉

The construction of the dam is amazing..No entry fee..vehicles are not allowed to reach near the dam..walkable distance only.Good place to relax in the evening hours..

Most calm and soothing place to hangout with friends and family, you can get the best sunrise/sunset view, surrounded by birds and cool breeze. You can just walkthrough down to see water body clearly but just be careful while going down.

The place is awesome. The scenic view, and fresh air, I loved it. Feels as if we are at some sea shore, only diff is the water is still and calm. Nice place for photoshoot. A good hang out for one who like long ride and nature.

It is a nice place to visit with family for a 1/2 day trip and you can visit a wargal temple on the same day.

This is THE BEST place for a Day Tour.. Fantastic Place and View. It is near to the City with just 60 km from the city and the Roads are wide and good.. So, you can reach this place shortly.. Best time to visit starts after afternoon -- you will love watching Sunset.. Can spend 2-5 hours easily. Such a good place with water on one side and green farms and trees all over the other side. I suggest ppl to take food from home or get the Parcels as there is No Food available there and also No Toilets.. Place is awesome and it is definitely worth going.. So, Just go and Experience the Best of the Nature.
