Mallanna Sagar Reservoir

One of the biggest reservoir I have seen personally being built in last few decades in Telangana. One has to visit the place and go around to understanding scale of it. It simply is massive in terms of construction 🚧 and engineering. Hope to irrigate surrounding villages in coming days. Reservoir has been reinforced heavily with boulders and concrete. It’s stretching 43 km across several villages. Hope to fill full capacity in future, currently it’s at minimum levels of water storage.

But road not constructed and I don't recommend to this palace for children's and so much hight of road and that no side boardes also not there very risky arey

This place is still under construction, so there were no restrictions to go around the dam using the car but we could.not go near water due to lack of time as we have to go down completely and come back which will take an hour.

Such a large reservoir! Telangana is becoming green so fast. Love all the development happening specially brining the much needed water for agriculture and houses.

I worked as Project Electrical Engineer (PEE) here from starting to ending of project...great memories...but high temperatures at summers...it was 50TMC reservoir.....

81 kms from Hyderabad this is another upcoming weekend destination. This is supposed to be bigger than the Kondapochama Resorvoir and is still under construction. Great place for sunset lovers and for bikers who would love a bit of off-roading while chasing sunsets

Under construction, roads to top of the dam is not really motorable. As huge as kondapochamma sagar
