Had a quick bite here on a weekend evening. Place was full, but I could get seat quickly.

Server was polite and quick. Food came fast, probably because I ordered curd rice. Taste was authentic South Indian taste. Filter Coffee was also very good. On request, I was served sambar on the house, and it was really good.

Place had an old rustic vibe.

"The past cannot be changed, but it can be rebuilt".

This iconic restaurant in CP, Delhi, has been a thriving business since 1935, but was in a dilapidated condition. The last time I visited this place with my mom, the green sofa seats were torn from places, the front door was always half closed to hide its shame, and the menu was old-fashioned as well.

I was absolutely sure, they were planning to close it down.

But someone decided to save it. Now, it has a modern look, from front to back, with youngsters running the business, South Indian fusion menu, and new age prices as well.

I tried the China Town Schezwan Onion Dosa, which was finger-licking good and Vietnamese Iced Tea, which may not be a favourite of many because the condensed milk at the end may be too sweet for some people.

Its been Years i visited This place. Fortunately while crossing this area, thought to check today's status of food and all as it was always renowned for its tasty food & great service. I was wondering to see thats it's somehow became More graceful and nice. Delicious food, real band of South Indian filter coffee, still remarkable. They still deserve for appreciation as earlier. I Also felt glad to see their way of service & proper attention to each and every customer. I decided i will keep visiting whenever I ll get chance.

The atmosphere was absolutely fantastic. You can even order seamlessly by just scanning a qr code, and the team will be super friendly with you while serving the dish. If you are find of authentic South Indian food. We recommend you go to this awesome place. The price was also affordable and not hyped with respect to place and food. Also, you can get a warm welcome and see off by the owner.

Madras coffee house is an amazing place to have food in peace. It is not the usual bling or minimalist vibe that restaurants have these days. Its USP is in its simplicity.

I don't even have words to express my experience of this place. It is so good.
The service, the ambience is very good and peaceful and the food is absolutely finger licking delicious .The blast of flavour you get with each bite is worth it. The sambhar, the chutneys and the filter coffee turned out to be so good that I can even have it for the rest of my life.

I got an opportunity to visit the iconic legendary South Indian outlet called Madras Coffee House in the heart of Delhi city. I tried a few dishes here like Onion Rawa masala dosa and idli sambhar. Both are good in taste. Service is great. I will recommend this place. And i am going to explore many more dishes on my next visit.

I had a wonderful experience at Madras coffee house, a cozy and authentic South Indian restaurant in Connaught place. The food was amazing, with a variety of dishes to choose from, such as dosas, idlis, vadas, uttapams, and more. The flavors were rich and satisfying, and the portions were generous.

The hospitality was equally impressive, as the staff was courteous, attentive, and friendly. They took my order promptly and served me with a smile. They also checked on me regularly and made sure I had everything I needed. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, with a warm and inviting atmosphere.

I would highly recommend Madras coffee house to anyone who loves South Indian cuisine or wants to try something new and delicious. It is a must-visit place in Connaught place, and I will definitely come back again.

One of the best dosa I have ever had. Their mysore dosa was excellent followed by plain dosa and rawa dosa. The price here is quite reasonable compared to the quality of food served. Seriously tasty good food! Must try .

Vietnamese cold coffee is a must try. Super friendly host and great authentic South Indian food. The most interesting side was the green chutney which had a strong punch of garlic. The idli here was also very good. Unfortunately the cold coffee they served was below average also had a weird aftertaste and also bit on the expensive side.
Having said that… you should pay a visit to this restaurant if you are in or around CP as this is one of the most iconic places to eat in Delhi.Staff is nice & friendly, top-notch food quality. They have Vietnamese Iced Coffee as well.
