During navrattri this place become centre of devotion for devi upasaks. Most amazing durga pooja of dehradun is organized here annually on ashtami during Shardiya Navratri. A huge croud gathers there and worship goddess durga and her 9 aspects during and many cultural programs are organized during these days by the bengali community.

One of the most famous places to visit in Dehradun especially to bengalies. This is a registered body. It organises saraswati puja, durga puja etc every year with so much enthusiasm. They offer prashad to all during those days.

Bengalis... Who unabled to manage to go back West Bengal in Durga Puja, then it's the only place where you can feel like home in Durga puja. This temple was established in 1900, so it's one of the most important heritage site for all bengali people in dehradun. The nostalgic "Dhak - sound", " smell of dhuna", " Dhunuchi dance" and many core bengali cultural programs are organized during 4 days of Durga puja. So.. it's must visit place for all bengalis and non- bengalis too.

Durga Pooja timings for navratri are 7:30. But get there by 7 to grab a front seat as it gets crowded.

My first Durga puja in Dehraun, though missing my place but I felt so relaxed here in durgabari Durga puja...Nice place....

Well organized Durga puja by ONGC, best Durga idol in Dehradun year after year, the pandal is waterproof, abundent parking on both sides of the road.

Durga puja celebration. Here you can get same feeling of durga puja as celebrated in bengal. Do not miss evening aarti at around 8 PM. Nice place to celebrate Durga puja. Also lokkhi puja, kali puja, saraswati puja is celebrayed here. Cultural programmes are also organised here mostly in bengali. Wonderfull place for bengalis to get together and celebrate all other bengali festivals. A must visit place during dussehra.

Durgabadi Dehradun organizes one of the best pandals.Their arrangement is well organised even in Corona times with proper social distancing and online pushpanjali rituals.
If u r a bengali and new to dehradun ,u can enroll for Durabari Bengali Samaj membership in just 1500rupees annually per family in which u can enjoy Durgapuja,laxmi puja, kali puja and saraswati puja for that year.So many Ongicians are associated with this pandal.It is just opposite to famous Doon school in a very lush green atmosphere.

It is a registered body in the name of Dehradun Durga Bari under Societies Act. It celebrates Durga Puja, Lakshmi Puja, Kali Puja and Saraswati Puja every year at its premises.

The atmosphere at this place was very nice. I visited the place for the 1st time at it was worth visiting. Even the lunch was very tasty. The cultural programs were also organised.
