When we visited it was the winter season. We enjoyed it a lot.

A difficult trek for the first timers, need to be careful if you are having kids along the trek

Super location for outing, but approaching roads are getting bad. government should provide minimum facilities like, washrooms and sitting areas.

Ananthagiri hills are the place of origin of the Musi river. The river is the source of water for Himayat Sagar lake near Hyderabad providing water to the city. Enjoyable long drive from Hyderabad via Chevella and Vikarabad. Started before dawn to be there at sunrise. Breakfast at Vikarabad. There are several viewpoints. Tried couple of them - one near the main temple and another at the trekking point. Nice feeling, taking in lungfuls of wonderful forest breeze while trekking through the jungle. Plenty of scenic backdrops for beautiful pics. Seen quite a few pre-wedding shoots along the way. All in all, a thoroughly refreshing experience, away from the hustle and bustle of the city life.

Nice place to visit with family are with friends..a round 80 km from Hyderabad ,hill station worth visiting.nearest town is vikarabad its around 5km from anathagiri .on the way to hills Anathapadmanabha swami temple is there another must visit place .Anathagiri hills are good from tracking ,government parking place is there ,there is no food available near the hills but around 5km there are many food places are there .plan your food accordingly

Nice place to visit in weekdays instead of weekends due to crowd. If u are nature lover do visit in between Nov to Feb in morning times while sunrise you can see amazing views around. Trekking,kayaking and camping also available.Food is available only near Lake or else you can go back to vikarabad or haritha resorts.Do visit to kotepally reservoir at time of sunset for better views.One of the destination for bikers for one day ride.

very good place to spend weekend with family and friends. 100km ride from the city of Hyderabad. I did my journey on a two wheeler in monsoon. and the view were breathtaking. this is nice picnic place for people who want to escape from city pollution.

The only hills you can find near Hyderabad. A good place for trekking. I'm still finding the falls there, but able to spot the location. If anyone know the route, please pin the location here.

Best place to getaway from Hyderabad for peace and fresh environment. Best if we can go in rainy season for those greeny grasslands in car.
