AMU professor who recollected the ‘shayari’ penned on Numaish by noted Urdu poets like Shakeel Baduyuni, Mazaz and others who attended this Numaish as AMU students.
“Organised in the earlier part of the new year, the century old ‘’Numaish’’ sets agenda for the year ahead in Aligarh. Numaish provides a platform to locals too and its popularity has been growing each year,” said the district magistrate.

Annual exhibition in the city of Aligarh. Usually begins after January 26th and lasts upto February 22 or so. Must visit if you are visiting Aligarh in those days.

Exhibitions are organized very well in Aligarh. The month of February is very good in Aligarh.

Numaish is annual exhibition held in Aligarh UP. It has been an essential part of Aligarh's culture and history. You would found variety of stalls selling antiques, crockery, carpets, wooden works, kashmiri suits and pashmina shawls, Rajasthani churans and pickles. There are rides as well and eatery stops. 'Nazeer' and 'Jhanda wala' are particularly famous for their mouth-watering nihari and kebabs. And while you're there don't forget to try halwa-puri as well.

The state industrial and agricultural exhibition, popularly known as Aligarh Numaish, is held annually in western Uttar Pradesh. The district administration is gearing up to host the event and to make arrangements for traders and shopkeepers from other districts and states, who would come to participate in the exhibition.

A very good place for shopping. Shop from Kashmir, Rajasthan, Lucknow, Kolkata, Thailand are there. Collections are also good. it'll take a lot of time to cover this place fully. Must visit.
