It has huge gate from where you can enter into Nagarkhana. And is called Nagarkhana darwaja.

Raigad Fort belonging to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj includes little gateways namely Mena Darwaja, Palkhi Darwaja, Nagarkhana Darwaja and Maha Darwaja which elevate the enchantment levels here and show a glimpse of how people used to access the fort back in those days. While it held great grounds in the olden days, even today the Raigad fort sees a lot of tourists and local crowds who come here for activities including picnic, trekking and enjoying nature and its elements.

Nagarkhana is the entrance of Kings court or Raj Darbar. This is the highest place in the fort. Nagarkhana was built in such a way that Sunrays coming from its entrance fall in straight line on the King's seat or Raj Sadar on the day of coronation ceremony that is 6th June 1674.

Nagaarkhana is the entrance for the Raj Darbar, holds place for the door keepers to keep an eye on the people entering inside and making loud announcements

Nagarkhana is the place on Fort Raigad where the Kettledrum used to play at the time of 6 'o'clock in the morning and the 6 'o'clock in the evening... It was a tradition at the time of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Era to let the people know that in the morning the gate of the fort is open and in the evening is closed...It was a sign of opening and closing of the fort...

Nagaarkhana is a place on Fort Raigad. We can enter in Maratha King's court from Nagarkhana. This place is opposite site of bajarpeth of raigad.
