The buildings structure is very beautiful and huge. The atmosphere where the college is present is very pleasant away from city . The management is also very attentive.good college.

Dr BATU is one of best university in Raigad which is run by govt of Maharashtra.

Good faculty are available in each department.

Behalf on my individual Opinion🌟 Campus is much better than ✨Another Surrounding. I Observed Teaching Staff Was ❤Polite nd Highly appreciated to Bachelor's💯, they also had brilliant level qualifications💯. Management Is being Developing 🌈Gradually, May it takes short time for Being Complete. Just because University is located in western ghat ranges their had some minor issues in 🌀 weather forecast. The Best phenomenon I enjoyed is sunsets 🌅 which gives awesome views from campus. If I conclude my review in One word - Outstanding 😁

I graduated from here with a BTech in Chem Eng, way back in 1998. My last visit was in 2009, after I finished my doctoral studies from Imperial College London and secured an academic position at The University of Edinburgh. I must say that the education I gained here was instrumental in securing my first job at Ispat Industries Ltd (where I worked for two months) and most importantly my second job at Unilever Research India where I worked for approx 2 years before I left for my PhD in the UK. Being from the third batch of Chem Eng from DBATU, I can definitely say that the our life in Lonere tested us in every way - extreme hardships both personally and academically! It may have really sucked then but we grew and our learnings helped us climb taller challenges with relative ease later in life! All in all - it was a great experience - good learning coupled with superb adventure! I hear that there has been a major investment in terms of infrastructure and facilities now - this is so welcome and will help ensure students are equipped with the latest know-how to become global citizens of the future! The University indeed has a strong history of producing outstanding engineers, scientists and entrepreneurs!

Good college. Placed in konkan. Location is good. Overall vibe is good. But if you want to get a good technical knowledge then don't come.

The University has a legacy to produce outstanding Engineers, Scientist, Executives, Enterpreuner since last 27 years. The infrastructure is comparable with a standard University. The campus is well connected to NH4 Mumbai Goa Highway and residential arrangements is much conducive for overall growth of a student ..a budding engineer... to b a successful citizen

Its State Government funded Autonomous Institute. I have completed my B Tech in Mechanical Engineering in 2012. Almost all faculties are Doctorate from IITs and has rich expertise in their respective subjects.

Job placements are not that great, but still better than many private engineering institutions across the state.

During my time, the fees was just approx. 25K INR per year (for open), & if you in OBC then hardly 5K INR which was very affordable compared to others institute.

Chancellor of this university is Governor of the State of Maharashtra.

My final verdict-

If you are not able to get admission in IITs, NITs, VJTI, COEP, & other reputed government colleges like Amravati, Aurangabad etc.. Then Dbatu is good option over 95% of private institutions & 1%,of government engineering institutions in Maharashtra.

Especially if you looking for autonomous institute, then DBATU has more authority than autonomous institute. After all its Technological University, one of its kind in state. This will give 100% transparency in examination & its evaluation (which is very important). If you study good then only able make good CGPA.

From Mechanical engineering departments, almost all faculties (approx more than 10) are doctorates in their respective subjects, which very few institutions can afford. Still feel proud of this.

Eventhough its far away from mainstream life & government owned, but when it's come to acedemic punctuality (In terms of lectures, exams, syllabus, practicals etc.. ), it is far organized than many privates institutions.

So based on above points, DBATU is very good institute for engineering, especially when you are intending to do Masters & saves some financials at your bachelors with quality education & When you not able to get admission the top ranking institution which i have mentioned above. Then definitely it is worth to go for DBATU, (if you manage to get the admission, as competition is still there to get admission in this university as well).

Best place to have experience of GURUKUL.

Good environment. The building is placed in 600 acre area. The building condition is good. the college give banking service.Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University is one and only one of its kinds in the State. The University is located at Lonere, the place in the ranges of Western Ghat, at the foot of Raigad fort, the place from where Chhatrapati Shivaji administered his major activities. It is autonomous in nature and Unitary in its character. It is established in the year 1989 by the Government of Maharashtra. Although relatively young, the University is making its mark in the field of research and technological services through its dedicated faculty and disciplined students.

The University has a conducted institute of its own, "Institute of Petrochemical Engineering", running Diploma Courses in eight streams of engineering and technology. The University extends its services to the society through a governmental scheme of "Community Polytechnic" by educating the dropouts and empowering them with technical skills. The University offers education especially to rural women through a Certificate Course in Nursing Technology.

University and the location of the university are like PARADISE for a technology and nature lover.
Spending 6 years of life at this heaven is like a bread and butter of my Entire life..

The place where you will see the best and worst days of your life. The climate here is very different in different conditions monsoons are simply drastic as well as awesome, the winters are damn cozy and very coldy while the summer are schorchingly hot and dry. You will have yours best days of life learning how to face people and the world. Here life is very different from the common world. A must visit place in monsoon.

Pro Tip: Once you stay here you can stay anywhere in the world.
