MPT Avantika, Ujjain

My stay duration was of 4 days and 5 nights. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Staffs were cordial. One can get ride from here at midnight. It has a park too and the hotel is in big area. Doesn't look like it's govt run.

Rooms are spacious, location wise it is a little bit remote from Mahakal temple but very well connected, just behind the Nanakeda Busstand, due to the remoteness it is very calm and peaceful, away from the crowd, foods are very good, there may be some shortage of man power, but officials are trying their best.

This place offers a great stay with spacious rooms and really comfortable beds. They provide handy amenities like a kettle and hair dryer, along with good-quality towels and toiletries. Additionally, there's an open park and play area for kids, and the staff at the canteen area were particularly friendly and helpful.

Best location, I loved the rooms, at the 1st building, best place to play, for kids and Good service, best place for a big group. We stayed for 1 night, there was a leakage of water, you need to improve on the food, no ac working in the restaurant. There are many animals coming in the room.

Very nice place, good housekeeping and well maintain. Food quality is very good and canteen staff admin staff is very polite. I recommend to sty in MTP avantika. Mahakal temple is 3 km . Looking to the cost it cheper the other hotels.

Due to non availability of private room, we were forced to take dormitory beds. But to our surprise they were quite comfortable and spacious. It’s an economical option and good initiate by MP Government. Staff is courteous. It has changed my narrative for Govt hotels.

Great place to stay but they don't serve any food

A classic mp tourism hotel with well maintained rooms and satisfactory service. The prices are very affordable, a 4 bedroom room costed around 1500(non ac).
The staff is polite and well trained. Breakfast is served around 8 to 10 am.

A really good place to stay while being in Ujjain. The hotel staff is very helpful. The drinking water is available in the mess and the food quality is also very good.
The rooms are colder as the building is constructed in a traditional way with greenery and open space.

I visited Ujjain last week for Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga.
MPT hotel Avantika is of the best places to stay in Ujjain.
A beautiful property. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Common areas and washrooms are clean and maintained very well.
They are having food as well as WiFI facilities.
I must say Staff is very helpful and professional. Even Senior manager of this hotel is very polite and co-operative.
The only thing is this hotel is around 4 Kms away from Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga but nearby there is a bus stand called Nanakheda bus stop so you will get the transport easily from here.
Would love to go back again.❤

Very nice experience. We initially stayed near mahakal temple but it was very bad hotel. Later on we decided to book this hotel which is little far away from temple.
Wow. What a decision it was. All the hotels near temple are very bad. This hotel MPT Avantika is superb and within budget.
The staff is super friendly and the breakfast is yummy. You can stay in new building to enjoy the super peaceful view in night and enjoy early morning sun.

This was the second time we are staying here in last 3 months. Very nice property and clean rooms.the staffs are very supportive . Its at prime location. Property in charge Mrs.Bhatti and her team are doing a wonderful job. I would always prefer this for my future stays. Value for money.

Average hotel as it's government but parking and location is fantastic.
If group of college or stag can opt for dormitory which is very good and in under 300 for per person.

I was impressed with the sync in which the entire staff works here! I needed no introductions upon arrival and the entire staff was prepared to serve me with warmth and courtesy... Morning staff and evening staff are in sync with the guest lists and requirements. The staff treats everyone the same way and it doesn't matter if you are staying in the dormitory or the deluxe rooms. I did not get this same treatment in the other MPT hotels that I stayed in during my Madhya Pradesh Trip. You get the same respect - Period.
All the amenities were functional and quite satisfactory. Even though the restaurant is closed for the time being the receptionist was willing to make tea/ coffee for me. Upon request I got hot water to drink in the morning and evening as it was very cold. I got the correct information about the bus timings, autos, places of visits, where to eat, or what to eat etc.. What I found unique in the dormitory in the main building was that each person gets a balcony for oneself… The dormitories are clean and price @ Rs.200/- night is affordable. There is a big lawn which is used for events. I had a peaceful stay and have faced no mosquito troubles! The property is just two minutes from Nanakheda bus stand and approx. 2-3 kms from Ujjain railway station.

The lady hotel manager has trained the staff exceptionally well. I applaud all her efforts. I have felt the saying "ATITHI DEVO BHAVA" (Guest is God) over here. I had even extended my stay here for a day...
What more can a guest ask for??? Am looking forward to visiting again for my next trip....

P.S. If you are booking a dormitory accommodation it's understood that you won't be provided with toiletries and bath towels...
Please bring your own lock as a locker is provided.

10 mins drive from Ujjain Railway station. The best part about this trip was the stuff who were very down to earth, Yes i have been to various hotels and stays but MPT Avantika gets a 👍 from me for staff behaviour and cleanliness. Since it was may and we were the only ones who were staying there we did a proper 4-5/5 star service from the staff. The chef makes brilliant food! Fresh Hot and Ready to eat stuff and not just cold and pre heated food
