Their tandoori & grilled non veg dishes are good, but biryani was not up to the mark.....

Busy restaurant in Mysore. They offer Halal food. We had Mugal Mutton Biryani that was superb. We also tried Mutton afgani and chicken tikka both are yummy. Mutton pepper roast was also nice.

Mughal Durbar is the most famous hotel in Mysore , just visit once and eat your favourite food...

Chicken biryani was better than other places. Old style interior.

The best part and unique about this restaurant is that they don't use taste enhancers in the cooking, just original flavours from spices and cooking styles. A very old restaurant on the street. Ramadaan time special foods are must try especially their menu with mutton.

One of the most prominent eateries in Mysore. This situated for long time time. The exotic taste which they provide is impeccable. It's totally unmatched. Mutton Biriyani and chicken Briyani are their trademark. Parking facilities for bikes are available outside. The waiters were well mannered and polite.

Excellent food and good spacious place to sit.. all the things are fresh and tasty.

Amazing biriyani. The taste has come down a little since when I first had the biriyani, but the taste is still amazing. The chicken kabab is also really good. The ambience is poor, but the food makes up for it. It is located very centrally and has good parking on the road in front.

We tried mutton biryani and mutton Afghani there and it didn't disappoint, the quality is good, although the biryani would not taste like that of Hyderabadi or Nawabi it wasn't bad. They also serve just the rice of the biryani if extra is required, the waiters are very courteous and most importantly the food wasn't extremely spicy so was a good dinner outing.

We started visiting this place when we came to visit our relatives in mysore but visiting our relatives became an excuse because the quality of food this place serves is cannot be compared to any other place. The quality of rice and meat is excellent. It's better than home cooked food. The service is also excellent, i feel at home when i come to this place.

I come to this place as it is very near to the railway station but after eating here I would've come to this place even if it was 50km away from the railway station. The Biryani the mutton Afghani the kebabs everything is excellent and mouth watering every time I come here I try a new dish but it exceeds my expectation. The staff are very courteous and bring the food in a jiffy. They have been serving food here from 25 years :0 that speaks for itself the quality quantity and pricing is the best available. I get a homely feeling when I come here.they take special care in preparing the food. I don't get that uneasy feeling you feel when you eat at restaurants. And the Biryani is very light and sumptuous. The spices they add are very succulent.i feel that this must have been the way the mughals cooked their food that is why they won so many battles :P thank you mughal durbar for preparing such wonderful food

It looked like a simple low cost place when we walked into the restaurant. However, the service and food was exceptional. Buttery naans, succulent sheek kababs, perfectly cooked tangdi kabab that was not dry at all and juicy quali. What a meal it was!!! Our waiter was one of the most enthusiastic people I have met and he ensured that everything was served with minimal wait time.

Must taste there mutton biryani it’s one of the best filled with tenderness and also the mutton afghani . Even the prices are reasonable . But the restaurant has to upgrade its ambience though it won’t matter for foodies because the food served is delicious.
