Located on National highway 44 near Jawahar Tunnel in shaitani Nallah.
This is a famous place because of its location and elevation. LMV and HMV stop here for some refreshments and it is also famous because every year a langer during Amarnath is set up there

Dangerous place during winter season. It's avalance prone. You can stop and have cup of tea and matthi near this place in any of the tea stalls along the national highway.

Just before reaching Jawahar tunnel from Banihal side you reach this spot where there are small shops from where you can buy chips and cold drinks. The place is avalanche prone and is usually closed in extreme winter months when there is snow fall and the traffic on NHA1 is very sparse.

Good for trekkers. Not good for family. When Javahar tunnel is closed, compulsory stay is located here. No clean and good toilet facilities, bathroom etc are here.
