Mysuru Palace Museum

I had visited this palace in January 2024. I was amazed to see that the palace is well maintained and due to weekend, there was a crowd but still it was not overcrowded. I visited at 3pm and stayed till evening. One more thing which I came to know that the light show runs every Sunday and holidays with the free entry. Otherwise, 100 per person is the entry fees. Also, you have to keep your shoes outside at the palace at lockers. This is how it keeps clean and maintained. You must visit this palace whenever you are in Mysuru.

First thing you should visit in Mysore is the Mysore palace. It is the best place in Mysore. The architectural work is beautiful. Everyone is allowed to go inside the palace. The volunteers will guide you where to go. If you visit the palace during Sundays or any special holiday then you might get a chance to see the lighting.

Mysuru Palace Museum is inside the Palace of Mysuru. The entry ticket to the museum is less than 100rs as on date. Half tickets should be taken to aged above 10years. Facilities like shoe removal stands, drinking water stands, parking space, public toilets, and local guides to explain about palace and museum. Museum consists many old antiques, woodcrafts, statues, darbar, portraits, paintings etc.

An amazing palace to visit. Architecture is simple superb.salute to the Architects who built it. Though the chappals are not allowed inside the palace its not much clean everywhere.It would be more wonderful to visit this palace during Dussehera festival and mind that it would be really crowded that time.
