Discovering a picturesque sunset viewpoint by the water, where tea, snacks, and the tranquil atmosphere create a perfect escape. The added charm of observing people fishing adds to the serenity. A must-visit spot for those seeking a scenic and peaceful evening experience

Kadamakudi Island, characterized by its tranquil waters and absence of a traditional beach, provides a distinctive escape for those seeking a serene aquatic environment. While the lack of sandy shores may differ from typical expectations, the calm waters offer a unique setting for relaxation and exploration. Visitors can enjoy boat rides or engage in water-based activities, appreciating the island's peaceful ambiance. Kadamakudi Island's beauty lies in its watery charm, providing an alternative escape for those who appreciate a more liquid landscape.

A beautiful serene place. This place is basically known for fish farming. There is a toddy shop around. The day we went was not too hot and in the evening the look of the sun was glittering on the water was awesome. There are not any shops or eateries so just enjoy nature and come back.

A good spot to spend evenings. But we can get out only after 5.30 since sun is too hot. Can go with kids but be careful while walking since bikes are coming such care less and also road is too narrow. There is much busy during evenings. The island is too good and if adults only going, we can walk through in between small walkways made with mud

‘Rare to see views’ of Nature around the area. Nice pathways on both sides filled with green agriculture fields and farm lands. Surrounded water areas adds more beauty to this place. Can also find rare species of migratory birds here and there.

A beautiful place to spend evenings with friends or family. You can enjoy the cool breeze and sit by the side of the backwaters. As the place gained popularity, the number of visitors increased, so there will be a hustle during the weekends. Small eateries are located by the roadside from where you can buy some shappu foods and kulukki sarbath. the sunset view from the place is amazing.

Great place to spend an evening. Serene atmosphere. You can click a bunch of beautiful pics from here. The roads are really narrow so be really careful. Do not take a car to this spot as it is very tough to navigate through the narrow roads. If you're planning to go with girls or your girlfriend get ready to get some dirty looks from the locals as well as some flirtatious comments from drunk locals. Other than that it is a really great place to spend a peaceful evening.

A short drive from kochi and you are in paradise.Absolute bliss it is. Be there before 6,watch the sunrise. Take a flask of tea with you and escape reality for a while. One request to the people who intend to visit. kindly refrain from littering. lets keep the place clean.

Scenic place to relax and unwind. Gets crowded during weekends and evenings. Mornings are free from crowd. Roads leading to the place is narrow, so better travel in a two wheeler while visiting the place.
There is a makeshift ferry built over small boats to transport two wheelers across the backwater nearby.

One of the best place near eranakulam to come with your kids and family or with your friends to spend some good time. ⠀
Mornings and evenings are good but I prefer that evening with a sunset sky. ⠀
We can walk through the middle of the paddy fields there and that not dangerous. The villagers are also good people.⠀
If you have a chances to visit don't hesitate to go the kadamakudy islands.....

The main highlight of our island is the Backwaters, which extend over the entire area, except for the land where our houses, roads and ridges of paddy fields stand.

Full Peaceful location.

There is a new bridge on which you can drive ur car to, towards the end of it after which the road narrows down and only expert drivers and small vehicles can pass through the small road.

At the end of the bridge , you can park your car and have a nice walk around the area. There are steps from the bridge which lead down to the small walkway between the beautiful paddy fields and a small tea shop which serves you the BEST chemmeeen cutlets ! It's a mustt and you should try it !!
