KD Jadhav Wrestling Stadium

IBA Women's World Boxing Championship 2023, 15th-26th March is being held in my hometown Delhi, India at Indira Gandhi Stadium, closest metro station ITO. I went to watch the bouts scheduled on 19th March Sunday. Both Indian boxers, Nikhat Zareen (World Champion) and Manisha Moun stormed into pre-quarterfinals. It was an awesome experience to watch professionals from across the world at one place along with their coaches, support teams. Got an opportunity to meet Manisha Moun with her current coach who prepares her for current competitions across the globe and her first coach from her hometown who brought her to this level. Special kudos to the youth who are volunteering in abundance making sure to provide answers, guidance and help to all.

Went there to attend PoKeMoN UNITE India Open 2023.

The KD Jadhav Indoor Hall is a 6,000-capacity indoor stadium that hosted wrestling events for the 2010 Commonwealth Games.After three months without official name, it was finally named after Indian wrestler K. D. Jadhav who won Independent India's first individual medal at the Olympics i.e. a Bronze medal at the 1952 Summer Olympics.

I don't know about the stadium, but Certainly it became huge and a Once in a lifetime experience just because of the Legend Sonu Nigam

I recently visited KD Jadhav Indoor Hall for the launch event of realme's 11 Pro Series and it was an absolute delight. KD Jadhav Hall provided a grand and spacious setting, perfectly suited for such a significant occasion. The stage setup was so impressive, with state-of-the-art lighting and audiovisual systems that enhanced the overall experience 🤌🔥

Very good stadium for seminars actually daily multiple sessions are organised and lots of people come to attend tem.

Very large stadium in which there are multiple gates for entry and exit.

he KD Jadhav Indoor Hall is an indoor arena located north od the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Delhi, India. It was inaugurated in April 2010 and will serve as the venue for the wrestling events of the 2010 Commonwealth Games. The hall has a seating capacity of 6,932 and a built-up area of 22,350 square metres.

KD Jadhav Indoor Hall is Located in Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium. Nearest metro station is ITO, better would be hire a cab or autorickshaw from there, although the distance is not that much but still a big NO for travel by foot (as there is no way for crossing the road). Best is to come by cab or your own vehicle. Parking facility is available and it's free.
KD Jadhav Indoor Hall has world class ambience, world class facilities. Seatings are good, good view from every end.

1st time I got a chance to visit KD Jadhav Indoor Hall/IG Stadium Delhi, to attend an International Event organise by International Motivational speaker Leadership Consultant CEO Coach Dr Vivek Bindra... Such an Amazing Personality. It was an unforgettable meeting with Dr Bindra. If I talk about auditorium, it is an air conditioned environment and Good arrangement of sitting is available...

Well equipped infrastructure of the place....not sure about sports facilities but attended a seminar....great experience...huge hall...with I think 4000 seats approximately.

Beautiful sports complex with plenty of great seatings and amenities including canteen washrooms and services. Went there for India open 2019 the lighting and the court seemed perfect they had amazing management as well. Perfect experience

Its really a wonderful place, bt of course with tight security guard... Hall mst probably have ample space with cleritic view.

The K.D. Jadhav Indoor Hall is an indoor arena within the complex of the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium at New Delhi, which is named after first post-independence Indian Olympic bronze medalist wrestler, late Khashaba Dadasaheb Jadhav. It is a square arena with seating facilities provided in the overhead gallery, and also makeshift seating is provided on ground followed by the stage for hosting many grand events and functions. This place hosts sport activities such as the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), as well as this place is rented to several organizations for hosting their own events. The place is decently air conditioned, and drinking water facility is available here. One must pass through several layers of security checking to enter this place.

Excellent place with ample parking space and greenery around. The hall is big enough
Nearest metro station is ITO. Seating space is ok with plastic chairs mounted on cement. There are approx 21 gates to IG stadium , 16,17 being for KD Jadhav entrance and exit

Good place for international matches. I visited there for india open 2019 badminton.
It was very good experience . About 1 to 2 km from ITO metro station.
