Good service

It is unfortunate that people are forced to purchase their services. The Uttarakhand Taxi Service and Manish Taxi Service doesn't let Ola and Uber drivers take the customers by maintaining a monopoly.

Drivers are rash (they hardly check rear view mirrors, side mirrors), drivers overtake at hilly turns, speedometers don't work, absence of seat belts, drivers other than those registered come for the job, cars are dirty etc..just to give an idea.

Avoid them if you can. Really scary practice at the risk of human lives!

This taxi service is booked inside the airpot . We had a bad experience as we had to wait since one of their driver lost the keys then we requested another driver so he was having lunch so we waited another 10 minutes.
Their rates are also high compared to other providers. Manish taxi service people will ask for extra toll even if they can take another route and also ask for parking fee in addition to what you pay at airport counter.
So the destination which usually costs me around 800 costed me 1020 using Manish taxi ( exclusive of toll because I asked to take different route). I would recommend to go for pre booked service like Garhwal taxi or any other.

* Pathetic Service by the staff at the counter
* When asked to explain the extra charges over what was mentioned in the rate sheet, the staff acted rudely
* Driver was courteous which was the only silver lining.
* You can find cheaper cabs if you book before from other services

The car provided was not in good condition...better to book from outside..or else Uber or Ola...
