We had a short trip to yuksam with the family to attend a wedding. Where we opted for a stay at Ejam residency, first of all the property was absolutely lovely and so were the host, the property is run by the family, a beautiful couple with their super adorable kids. The major points like norbu-ghang ( Coronation throne of namgyal dynasty), Kartok lake( holds a historic significance spiritually and religiously) , Kartok monastery is walkable distance from the residency. Overall our stay felt homely, warm and welcoming , super comfortable stay. The host are super warm and makes sure that your stay is comfortable and pay heeds to your needs. If you’re looking for a place home away from home then I would highly vouch ppl to stay over at ejam residency whenever they visit yuksom,west Sikkim.

Stayed for 1 night, it's in a very peaceful location, awesome view, surrounded by a small village, the owners and staff were awesome, for me the great takeaway was the homemade food and drinks that was served fresh to us, food was very tasty. Very humble, kind and welcoming people. Had a great experience with people around bonfire at night. Please do visit :D

People of Yuksom are awesome.
Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Garden is great and pleasant to spend time in, as well as common room.
Food can be little bit pale sometimes and very tasty and quite reach other times.
What can be kept in mind is that there are power shortages in the area when hot water becomes unavailable. Heating is not present, as in probably most places there.

It is a very nice place to stay. A complete homely atmosphere you will get. A little away from motorable road but has a nice view. The business is running by a family has maintained it nicely and had a good test.

Its d best hotel in Yuksom n I recommend fr doz who luv d wilderness as its located juz a few hundred yards frm d main Yuksom Bazar area n iz surrounded by forest az d famous Lake Kathok too iz juz a few meters away frm d hotel. D place iz fr doz who doesn't want to hear d sound of motor vehicles. It is rare to find doz kind of hotels....d Environment iz extraordinary but only d ones who visits will b surprised to c d beauty of nature at its best n I bet no one will forget such a remarkable place to live.

NICE STAY IN EJAM RESIDENCY
Located just 300m from the famous Kathog lake of Yuksam, West Sikkim, Ejam Residency is a very amicable homestay with a clean 3-storey building surrounded by a wide lawn and green garden. We stayed there one night in Oct 2022 on our journey to South and
West Sikkim. Very clean and warm rooms, the staffs were so friendly and helpful with nice breakfast and dinner. Thank Ejam for giving us a nice stay. We highly recommend this warm homestay for those who wish to visit west Sikkim.
