My stay at this hotel was enjoyable. The room was quite clean, and the staff's friendliness added to the positive experience. Its convenient location made it easy to explore the city, and the reasonable price made it a great value. It also offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains, and even the Kanchenjunga if skies are clear.

We had a great experience with this hotel, room balcony view was excellent.
The food provided by them was very delicious. All the hotel staff was very helpful and caring.

Stayed for 3 nights with family. Awesome location with well maintained and clean rooms. Food quality and quantity are both adequate and Awesome. Staffs are well behaved and always ready to serve.

This Hotel is situated at the top of Upper pelling, Sikkim. Mr.Gurung allotted me room no. 104 which had a great view of the valley along with the Mighty Kanchenjunga. The room was big enough equipped with luxurious items and room heater. I visited in January, that time the Room Heater played a very useful role. The staffs were good and well mannered. Food was OK. But, U could not get Wifi at the top floor.

The hotel was awesome. Nice view room for kanchenjungha mountains are available. The hotel staff was very good and the food given was tasty as well. Overall very nice hotel .

I'm very much satisfied. Mr. Gurung is a very helpful and gentle person. Restaurant service and charges are appropriate. On day one I requested for cornflakes in breakfast. They arranged it on day two. It was beyond my expectation.

I went there for the second time, very good experience, their hospitality, food and entire room cleanliness are all very good.

When I chose Retreat Crassula Ovata for my stay in Pelling, I came across quite a few negative reviews of the hotel, most of which are the compliants against the arrogance of the manager Mr. Vijay. I still stuck to my decision since I didn't feel the same in spite of speaking to that man couple of times. We checked into the hotel and as usual got a warm welcome from the front desk. Mr. Avijit and Ms. Bandana were impeccable in their job all through out.
In my view Sikkimmese are the most cordial and hospitable people within entire India. Hence I was really astonished to see such reviews.
Now in my 4 days stay in this excellent properly situated at the top most location of the Pelling town, I got to realise a different story.
When I first met Mr. Vijay, I found him to be extremely humble, cordial and approachable exactly in accordance to my subtle belief.
The real story is that some unprecedented and irrational requests from the boarders such as room cleaning at 11.00 pm. or the allowance of 5 person in a single room had been turned down by the manager. This is really awful. Reviews something can be so misleading. It would have been a real loss for me if I wouldn't have booked this hotel.
Now coming to the hotel reviews, this is the best hotel of Pelling as far as the location and the Kanchanjanga view is concerned, situated exactly at the top of Pelling Town. Rooms are just impeccable. Having all necessary and luxurious amenities including bed warmers. All the staff members are extremely cordial and always ready to help. Very very prompt service. Food is good but not great. But one must consider the scarcity of raw materials in such a remote place.

Excellent service staff. Experience was beyond our expectation. Food quality equals to any good restaurant of a big city. Special mention requires for Mr Bijoy- Manager, the Lady at the Reception and the restaurant staff. Always serving with a smiling face. If Pelling then Retreat Crassula Ovata.

Just thinking from where should I start!!In one sentence it's a complete package of good experience to make your holidays memorable. We stayed in room no.102. The room was clean & specious. From the balcony you can enjoy amazing view & if you are lucky enough (like me😄) you can enjoy mesmerizing view of kanchenjunga from your bed. Staffs are also very helpful.

The best hotel i have been to in terms of service, quality of food and the staff. Fantastic location with equally fantastic and friendly staffs who always greet you with a warm smile. If you visit Pelling, this is the place to stay.

If you are traveling to Pelling, Serenity and tranquility is what you should be looking for. And this Hotel provides them with Luxury. The hotel is situated at Upper Pelling and you can get the best view of the Kanchenjunga ranges from here, right from your bed. Just below the balcony will be a long array of Pine forest downhill. Due to the location restraint its not advised to travel outside at night if you are not having a personal vehicle( Its completely dark outside with no street lights and fog all around, you might even enjoy it). Food is great and served in ample quantity with the prices being considerably low, although during off seasons you might not get the whole array of meat they offer in the menu. A very friendly staff. Only improvement would be the booking platform for the hotel cause it might be a bit hard and confusing for new people to book.

Located at Upper Pelling this hotel has a great view of the Kanchanjungha ranges....and you can watch the sunrise from your bed....it's an awesome experience!!

The rooms are clean and the service is good. The food served at the restaurant is delicious.

If you are in Pelling, this is surely a place worth staying at.
