Karivaradharaja Perumal Temple

Ancient temple which has the history of it being the first temple built by the Naidu. The place where the temple is located was one of the high land at that time and also had the name “Poolamedu” which was later called to be the present day Peelamedu. The temple has the deities Alwars, Vedantha Desikar, Ramanujar, Lakshmi, Aandal, Dhanvanthri, Anjaneyar are blessing along with Karivaradarajar, Sudarsana Chakkarathalvar and Narasimhar. The main deity being Karivaradaraja Perumal. There is a hall for functions within the temple premises along with a dining hall. The temple is well maintained, belonging to the PSG institutions. The parking space is limited.

Very very peaceful temple located in heart of the city. Poojas were done on time and fully satisfied. We can spent valuable time here for devotional activities. Car parking is available. This temple Pongal is very very popular, prepared with Gee and Natural Sugar. Really loved this place.

Very good temple with pleasant ambience. The temple management madam Devika is very much helping. Today my sons engagement function held. All the staff particularly madam Devika provided all necessary help and guidance.

Oldest temple in Peelamedu area. Nearly 300 years history the temple has. The gopuram is a big one. Alwars, Vedantha Desikar, Ramanujar, Lakshmi, Aandal, Dhanvanthri, Anjaneyar are blessing along with Karivaradarajar. Sudarsana Chakkarathalvar and Narasimmar are curved in one stone a good to see. A big Marriage Hall is available within the temple premises. During Vaikunda Ekadesi days there will be heavy Rush. Neatly maintained. The main entrance door will say about temple. GOOD

Very peaceful and quiet place. Reasonable parking lots for 4 wheelers. Temple closes by 8 PM. Better to be early if you are visiting in evening .
