Totally loved it! The view is astonishing. The satff was so polite and accommodating. Loved the food. Totally worth every penny. We tried red pasta and manchurian. Both of the dishes were upto the mark. Staff followed the instructions. There was a live music session going on which set the vibe crazy good. I'd definitely recommend this place. Just go there, you'd love it!

Shamiana is a gorgeous restaurant with a brilliant view of the udaipur skyline. They have a live band on weekends and the place was such a delight to dine at!
The food was very good and they had a special menu of starters. We got some kebabs and cocktails and enjoyed the live music with the view! Perfect location for a date night ❤

Good for views as the restaurant is located right on the banks of lake pichola on a rooftop with unobstructed views. Service wasn't great but not bad either. The Indo Chinese starters like Veg Manchurian, crispy corn and chilli chicken were good. The main course was not that great, we ordered Szechwan fried rice and chicken in black bean sauce.

Absolutely adored it! It's an incredible view. The Satff was really gracious and understanding. adored the cuisine. Completely worth every cent. We sampled manchurian and crimson spaghetti. The quality of the two dishes was satisfactory. Employees carried out the directives. The atmosphere was created by a live music performance that was taking on. This place is highly recommended by me. You would enjoy it, so just go there!

Great view of ganguar ghat. Ambience is apt for quiet and comfort seating, to enjoy the conversations and people.
The food is at par, more than average. They let you to customize the dishes as per your choice.

The staff was not at all accommodating and they got annoyed unnecessarily when we complained about their unsatisfactory services. It was an okay-ish experience overall and the beautiful scenery saved this restaurant from ultra-negative reviews.

I was recently on a vacation in Udaipur and staying at Hotel Sarovar. Shamiana Roof Top Restaurant and Coffee Shop is located on the top floor of Hotel Sarovar and the view is mesmerizing. Located right along lake Pichola, Shamiana offers you one of the best view to dine with. The restaurant has both terrace and inside seating but I will recommend terrace sitting for the view. The ambiance is really soothing with some light music and dim lights at night.

I tried all three meals- Breakfast, lunch and dinner here and everything was delicious. Starting from breakfast which has a number of options such as aloo parantha, aloo poori, pancakes etc. is prepared fresh and served hot. The staff is really courteous and responsive.

For lunch, I ordered their specialty Gatte ki sabzi, Karhi pakora, biryani with assorted breads. Gatte ki sabzi is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED for anyone visiting this place. The whole display of food was excellent and delicious. Veg biryani was perfectly sealed in a matki and had an excellent aroma and flavors.

Dinner time was one of my favorite here because of the night view of lake Pichola accompanied with light soothing music and lighting. This place is tailor made if you are looking for a date place within a budget. The bar menu has a number of good cocktails, my favorite being Mojito. For dinner, I ordered karhi pakora which is again STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

In a nutshell, for anyone visiting Udaipur next- do visit this restaurant for their excellent food, drinks, hospitality and most importantly the VIEW.

Ohh the views!! Best place to have a dinner date or an early morning breakfast for that matter! You will love the ambience for sure, I don't have any food pictures but that was amazing as well. We were staying in the hotel, so we had complimentary breakfast, which was good. Though there is a scope of improvement. But overall it was a nice experience.

One of the best rooftop restaurant in Udaipur. The food was nice and testy. The view from restaurant is amazing. The appearance of colourful flowers are eye catching.

The vibe here is unmatchable...there are singers who entertain you during the evening time ..Along with this you can enjoy your perfect time listening 🎧 songs and live music alongwith beautiful view 🪟..Its affordable..quite overpriced for food .
