Hotel Galaxy Family Restaurant

I recently visited the Hotel Galaxy Family Restaurant and had an excellent experience. The food was delicious; I went for lunch and enjoyed a satisfying meal. The pricing is reasonable, and the availability of ample underground parking was a plus. With around 20 tables and separate family seating, there's plenty of space.

The staff serves fillings promptly, showing a commitment to customer satisfaction. However, due to its popularity, it's advisable to arrive early for lunch to avoid waiting for a table. The restaurant is a local favorite known for its economical yet flavorful beef, porotta, and chicken items.

Starting as a small establishment years ago, Hotel Galaxy has expanded to a much larger facility, showcasing their success and popularity in the area. It's a bustling spot, and despite the lunchtime rush, the overall experience was enjoyable. Highly recommended! 😊

It's been a long time since I've had any food from the Galaxy Restaurant, Kakkanad. I had chicken Biryani and the Travancore chicken fry from here and it was delicious. It was takeout, and the Biryani cost us 140 rupees per head, and the Travancore chicken was 150 rupees per portion. The quantity was more than sufficient and was neatly packed. Parking space is limited, and can accommodate a maximum number of three cars, not sure if they have a parking space somewhere nearby.

Excellent food, went there for lunch and had meal, the price is okay (60rs on 20 sep 2023). Ample parking available, underground parking. Ample seating nearly 20 tables, seperate family seating.
Good food tbh, they serve fillings even before asking. No hesitations at all.
But there will be so many people there for food at lunch time, so get there early for lunch you would end up waiting for someone to get up get seated.

I always get really good service and love the tasty food at Galaxy. The staffs are nice, the food is always delicious, and everything is just great every time I go there. I think it definitely deserves a 5-star rating!

It's a budget friendly hotel with good quality of service , The taste of the food is average and some dishes they make are average. Like if you need hot and crispy porotta this place is not recommended because it's below average. Other dishes are good , lunch , Biriyani, non veg dishes are good

This hotel is commendable for its service ,the people serving here are so polite and gentle and fast .The food is tasty and worth every price. You can have happy breakfast,lunch from here without wasting the money like other restaurants.must recommended

One of the best hotels in kakkanad.we get there today for our lunch with cousins.because of independence they are giving free payasam for all customers for today.also we ate chicken,beef,egg biriyanis,chapathi,beef fry.every single food tastes perfect.and also good service from their side.they also started a parking facilitiy juat opposite to their hotel across the road.totally am satisfied with their service and taste of food.

When was the last time you ever felt like having food from the same restaurant two or even more times in a row? Well, this was that kind of a restaurant for me!
I had always known that it was famous for its beef varieties, but could only try most of the dishes now! Had the beef roast, beef fry, chicken roast, chicken 65 and some porottas to go with those. And it was just splendid! Every single item tasted equally amazing! But of course, the beef dishes were my pick definitely. The pieces were tiny, yet so soft. The quality could be known in every bite! I also became a fan of their soft and fluffy porottas. It was a delivery and yet the porottas were still so soft and fresh. It was at that moment I wondered how delectable these would've been, had dine-in been allowed!
I feel there are more dishes for me to try out here, like the biryani, beef sukka, butter chicken, afghani chicken etc. Also, the ones that I coud taste were so addicitive to the point that I contemplated on my return here, the very next day as mentioned before!
Also, another reason for the high rating is due to how economical the place is. For the price paid, the quality and quantity is top notch! Cannot mention about the ambience or service as it was a delivery. But I'm pretty sure it will be pretty decent. Overall, made a highly satisfying food order from this restaurant and has now become my go-to spot for porotta and beef!

This is a trusted place for decades. The beef roast here is the best you can get. Everything is correctly priced. Highly recommended.

Ok.. i have tried porotta,beef roast,puttu, idiyappam ,and also biriyani from this place....to b frank rates are too less, quality and taste are too hight.....only thing am not happy is wth the ambience but still its a best place for food....visit ,try, njoy ....

Best BDF (beef dry fry) in the city. Only available afternoon.

One of the best restaurants in Vazhakkala, kakkanad. Affordable price for food. Paneer butter masala is very tasty compared to all restaurants in this location. Tea is also good. Service and atmosphere is really awesome. One of the main thing i have to mention here is, they operate a seperate parcel counter outside the restaurant which is really helpful for the customers. Their parcel delivery is even more faster.

The fried rice and the BDF (Beef Dry Fry) are clearly the best that I've ever had in a long long time. What's even better? The quantity for it is plenty for the price we pay. I've also tried their Chilli Chicken and Biriyani. They're really good too.

Kakkanad's famous galaxy hotel. It has shifted from its old location to its own place now. They serve good biryanis, poratta and chicken fry and BDF, mouthwatering stuff.

Famous hotel in vazhakala. U could see some celebrities as well in there because its a knwn place. But rush at noon time. So u may have to wait some time. Parking is available in the oposite side of the hotel

From childhood onwards, I have been a huge fan of this restaurant. Their porotta and bdf dishes, along with their flavorful gravy, have always been exceptional. The biriyani they serve is also a standout. Highly recommended

Great tasting authentic food. Dont expect outstanding ambience and service. 100% recommend the food.
