Tandoor Tawa aur Karahi

A small nice restaurant. Food is very good (it can improve to become excellent - for me very good is just below excellent). We had gone for a group lunch from the office - they were able to fulfill our orders at a good pace. Service people were courteous and good. Would love to revisit and try other items on their menu. The only drawback I felt was that the location was slightly off the way - it is on the highway (main road) but the restaurant will not be noticed unless one is specifically looking for it.

I can still feel the sumptuous taste of Tandoori chicken and black paper chicken tikka, it was served with green chutney and mustard sause made with curd. We were welcomed with complimentary pani puri. Nice to have that. For main course, we ordered Chicken biryani, i was literally happy to taste real biryani after long time.

Nice ambience, Food taste is very good. Specially the tikkas , if you wanna try tandoori item please visit this place.
We had veg manchow soup, paneer pahadi tikka, chicken lasuni tikka. Very soft paneer and juicy chicken .In main course we tried garlic naan with veg malai kofta curry. Curry is ok.

Tikka are the best.

Good thing parking is available. Take service road after Suraj water park. I liked the ambiance and staff is supportive in helpful. Food is tasty but if you’re Vegan then less options available. Food quantity is good enough. Place is hygiene and clean. They serve me quick because of less customers due to Covid.

Its a good place for a quick dinner. They serve complimentary pani puri to all guests which is great. Their Indian ( Tandoor ) dishes are a must try. Even veg options are great.

Felt nice. Food is amazing especially their starters.

A hidden gem in the Godhbunder road of Thane, near suraj water park. I did saw this twice while passing Godhbunder road and wanted to visit the place because the name and the logo of the restaurant was very catchy. Finally one fine Sunday afternoon, I arrived at the restaurant and I was totally amazed to see how the place was set up. When you enter, you can see live tandoor grills and Chef working on it. I always love kitchen with transparent kitchen, that shows the hygiene level that is maintained in the restaurant. Then the dining area has amazing light set up and wall has nice vintage feel to it with some beautiful old photos hanged. The place is nicely set up, full marks to that.

Coming towards food, let me tell you what I tried.

Soup:

Paya Shorba - Paya cooked for longer duration, all you get is a clear flavourful paya soup. I was expecting paya peace, which was not their but, still the flavours did the justice.

Appetizers :

1) Chatpata Masala Papad Cone - Papad roasted and moulded in cone shape filled with sukha bhel. Thoughtful and very nicely presented. Good way to start of your meal.
2) Fish Tikka (Highly Recommended) - Tender fish nicely marinated with Indian Masala, lemon and Tandoori Curd spices and grilled in Tandoor. Lipsmaking and Delicious.
3) Jhinga Tandoori (Highly Recommended) - Prawns marinated with ajwain flavoured yogurt and garam masala then roasted in tandoor. Lipsmaking and Delicious.
4) Mutton Gilafi Seekh (Highly Recommended) - Minced mutton mixed with bell pepper, boiled egg and spices. Perfect as it should be.
5) Chicken Black bean sauce (Highly Recommended) (Chinese) - After try all Indian appetizers, gave a try to Chinese appetizer. It did not disappoint the palate. It was juicy and delectable chicken complimented well by the black sauce.

Mains :

Murg Dakshini (Highly Recommended) - You can feel the rich south indian flavours as soon as it hits your palate. Amazing gravy and delightful.

Mutton Rogan Josh: Perfectly cooked mutton with perfect Gravy as a it should be.

I would definitely recommend, if you are ordering any Gravy in the main then please try it with ULTE TAWA KA PARATHA. It's superb and rarely found in any restaurant. It a Hyderabadi concept of making paratha that is soft and delicious. Lovely and must try it.

Dessert :
Chocolate bomb with hot chocolate syrup (Highly Recommended) - I was willing to try few more desserts but, this dessert was so, awesome that I did not want to try any other dessert and change the taste of the palate. The chocolate was rich and highly indulging one. Loved it the core.

Overall enjoyed the experience and hospitality. Would definitely recommend you to try it. It will not disappoint you.

Perfect serving trained staff quality food yahoom

I love this place because it has a vibe of musical inside with some love song's continuously playing. Feel likes there's a DJ who is playing this song's all the time. About the food it's delicious 😋 specially for Nov veg lover's it's great all the time. Staff are friendly in nature.

A place with less crowd in the afternoon. Delicious food. Kept theauthencity intact. We had biriyani and tandoori chicken. We also got a plate of pani puri complimentary. Also service was fast. Loved it 😊

Food is really delicious, especially the sarso da sang which was authentic although they are are famous for chicken Tandoori items.
Also they serve Masala papad in an aesthetic way and this too is worth eating.
On the top it, they surprised us with complimentary paani poori.

Nice joint for family dineout.... Great food, great interiors. Service could be faster....

We didn't order desserts however they gave us yummy kulfi ice cream which all of us enjoyed. To top it they gave us a 20% discount voucher for lunch on week days during the month...

Edit 1: Have been a regular at this joint. Food has always been tasty here. Hence giving 5 star now.

Food was awesome...serving was very fast...
I had a doubt only with Malabar paratha...as I think it was not made by them ...it was a packed frozen paratha...which was cooked and served to us.
The prawn lollypop...was nice.it was good...and the masala papad..was quite awesome...
