Small & Exotic Animal Hospital

Absolutely appreciate the Care and Efforts taken by them for my Pet. Timely updates are given as well and one should follow any treatment prescribed by them. In my case we were too late to notice the deteriorating health of my pet after which we went to them.

My pet daughter, Dora has been suffering from acute dermatitis for a few months. I must have visited half a dozen doctors for getting it treated. Not one of them
was able to diagnose her condition properly. While few said dermatitis and did some
sample skin scraping and other blood tests, the others diagnosed her wrongly for thyroid issues and the what not. It was Dr Sharad Chavan and his team who were able to figure out the exact issue and give her the medication required. Since her visit in January this year, she has been in good hands.

Very good treatment given for my turtle.
My turtle is now very healthy. They also have lodging facilities for turtles only.

Must visit for any pet if they have any health issues.

I visited 2 doctors before this but they could not treat my turtle and his condition become very bad but when i come here doctor did the blood test and tell me the exact disese my turtle suffering and 3 month after treatment now my turtle start to eat again. thank you dr chavan and dr dhuri for saving my turtles life

The doctors here are amazing and very warm. We had taken a feral cat for treatment and they were spot on with the diagnosis and treated her well. Now that feral cat{in the pic} is ours 😀.

Well post the 1st review, our Cat Chichi was regularly seen & treated by these Doctors and so was our 2nd Cat Fhifhi. Dr. Ashika & Dr. Sharad both are very sweet and always took time in hearing & explaining the issues. I recommend them very highly post my experience with them for almost 2yrs.

Unfortunately we moved to Thane 3months back and can't come here for small things.

Very cooperative assistant and an excellent + knowledgeable doctor.

Update: I have taken my pet to this hospital almost half a dozen times now. The doctors are really very knowledgeable and helpful. They are genuinely concerned about their pet patients. Before coming to Small and Exotic Animal Hospital, I had visited a few other vets, and none of them knew how to deal with rabbits and couldn't give proper treatment or diagnosis.

Very good doctor . Took great care of my late pet hamster shiiro . Very greatful for the experience. Thank you so much for making my baby's life a little less stressful.

Excellent work with my pet turtle Happy , must say she's alive just because her treatment for past 6months with good doctor for reptiles and lots of patience. Very much thankful.

A hidden gem in the suburbs of Mumbai!

I highly recommend this clinic and Dr Sharad Chawan who treated my pet rabbit. He was extremely patient and kind enough to explain and guide us through the treatment course of our rabbit who needed a dental surgery also about proper hay diet that needed to be followed after the surgery. We were always helped by their assistant in escorting the pet inside, proper hygiene and sterilisation zone is maintained inside the clinic. They are the only exotic vets that will be able to guide and treat exotic and small pets like rabbits, tortoise etc. I have visited few vets before I visited them but none of them come close to their expertise as most of the other vets aren’t specialised in small animals and often misdiagnosis can lead to detrimental effects. I am extremely happy that we have such people who genuinely are passionate about catering the needs of small animals. Thank you and I wish you guys the best , I hope you guys succeed more in the future.

Loved it. Got my 2 Red eared slider examined. They gave clear explanation to everything I asked or did not understand. They provided proper medication to perform for both and for the one turtle that have eggs.

We have known Dr. Sharad for nearly 12 yrs now.
We know that our pet is in safe hands there.

Our Guinea pigs, Izzy and Dusky have been very well taken care of, by both Dr. Ashika and Dr. Sharad. Very friendly, and caring towards our pets, and have diagnosed and treated kidney stone, and neutered one of our piggies, both are healthy and doing great! Thank you!! 😊

Dr. Sharad and Dr. Ashika are very knowledgeable and have recommended the right thing for my pets a pitbull, Tortoise and my late Guinea pigs, where they have shown 100% recovery rate in less time. They can handle them well and are highly professional. Kudos

The doctors are good and well experienced. Only amongst few vetenary doctors nearby to look into exotic species. My pets have cured a lot since a visit to them. Highly recommended.

The best exotic animals vet in Mumbai. Dr Ashika has great knowledge about iguanas and how to keep them at home. Turns out everything I was doing for my iguanas was totally wrong which led to lack of calcium in their bones and could lead to other lifetime diseases. She examined both my iguanas and explained everything what I should be doing to keep my babies healthy and live longer like their enclosure, diet, lighting, taming methods, and how to keep them stress free. If you have any exotic pets and not sure about their habitat, etc. I would highly recommend you to visit her clinic in kandivali, she is very helpful and was very professional in handling my iguanas as well. I will go back next month to re-check my iguanas. Thank you doctor.

Have been fortunate to find this place in times of emergency for the first time, took a really good care for my beloved pet (Buddy) during the emergency stomach bloating operation twice. It is the best clinic for exotic animals. My turtle , Zico was dull and not eating since a month. I went to many vets and his condition didn't improve . Then I found about Small and Exotic animal hospital. They gave excellent treatment to Zico and performed a surgery for bladder stone. Zico recovered wonderfully thanks to the team at the hospital.
I would recommend this place to every exotic pet owner.

Doctor is extremely knowledgeable, she was so patient in explaining about my guinea pigs..trust and follow her advise for your own pet... She's awesome.....and knows to handle pets so sweetly and confidently..at times it's our own fault as we have no or less knowledge of our pets we have...please cinault the doctor in small and exotic Animal hospital before and after you have a pet..Good luck, God bless to doctors for saving our pets....💐

The doctor treating exotic animals is good and Knows her work. She recovered my pet from a serious problem. Keeping under doctors surveillance full time option is also there.
