My God what an experience to have visited this place. Had been here before the new church was build. When we reached here couldn't believe my eyes looking at the new church. In par with all the renowned churches of the world, truly astonishing and was spell bound. The kind of smaller architectural details that have gone into making of this great structure is worth mentioning. The timing was so perfect with a bit of drizzling. Not much crowded when we visited and felt like very much with the Creator himself. I loved some my own frozen moments.....

One of the most beautiful church in kerala⛪This place has 2 churches, one is the old and small one and next to it is the new church which is a sight to see. There's a well near the old church, where you get fresh water. Also, the architecture and design of the new church is really mesmerizing. The whole environment is calm and relaxing.

One of the most beautiful churches I've been to! Absolutely beautiful, both inside and out. The architecture will have you in awe - it looks like it's straight out of a storybook. It has lots of gold plated statues and altars - after all it is said to be one of the richest and oldest churches around.
Worth a visit for sure!

A very peaceful and grand structure beholds this church. Known to have Asia's largest shrine. It gives a devine feeling while you're at this place. Located at the city heart' with good connectivity and holds ample parking space. Premise holds multiple churches, one which would be 1000 years+ old and the new one which was constructed a decade ago. Masses are conducted daily basis as rituals.

This is one of the biggest and the most visited churches in Kerala and especially in central Kerala. Very busy during weekends and during festival season.

The nine-day festival is celebrated annually starting on April 23rd. Gold, chicken and eggs are offered. The festival is held grandly and religiously every year. Non-Christians also visit the church during the feast days.

This church is reportedly the richest church in Kerala, and it does make one feel that way aesthetically, nostalgically, and spiritually. This church compound has three churches of which the oldest one dates back to 1500 years, and the youngest one is less than a decade old, and is one of the largest churches in the whole country. This church offers mass, and other services at various timings in the new, and the second church. While the oldest church is being maintained as an adoration chapel.
