Hotel Shalimar Residency

This is near Ernakulam Junction Railway station. Peaceful place. There are plenty of rooms but the staff is a little unprofessional. We booked for 2 days. The first day we got an AC room where the AC was not working, the 2nd day the AC turned off without our control. No restaurant available in this stay.

Nice staff, and they're into a sustainable business model. Rather than providing individual water bottles, they kept large purified water bottles on each floor, and we can collect water from there. Will come again.

Very close to ernakulam railway station and near ernakulam south metro station. Good, clean and spacious hotel. It is located in masjit road near ernakulam railway station .

Very nice location, near the railway station ( walkable distance), near the market, every auto guy knows the hotel, every market restaurant is very near, bathrooms are very hygienic, reasonable prices.

We stayed at the hotel for one night. The hotel was clean, and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. As we were checking out early and missed breakfast they kindly made us some dinner and brought it to our room which was very nice of them. We had all the necessary requirements for a comfortable stay at a reasonably price. Thanks!

Best place near Ernakulum railway station...no restaurant though

The hotel rests in a really cool place surrounded with so many trees and is quite near the boat jetty. Very polite and welcoming staff and great hospitality. The rooms are clean and they smell good. Overall a really nice place to stay for a tour, would recommend.

Found this stay through Goibibo at a cheap rate(less than 500).. Located Very close to railway station, hardly 100mts. KSRTC Bus Stand is also close by, nearly 1 km ; you will get autorickshaw. Well maintained, with good facilities like TV, WiFi. Restaurant is not available, but you can find good veg and nonveg restaurants very close to this hotel. I will suggest this hotel to single/bachelors and all football lovers(Premier league).

The bathroom was good and everything was clean.

Im lady and for some reasons I had to stay in the hotel. But it was safe. Only problem is that they don't have restaurant ! But still we can order food from and deliver directly to hotel. The rent is good enough..

An ok hotel. Room service was bad. No towels or bedsheets provided. Bathroom latch didn't work. Even the location is not apt. Overall not recommended.

It was a great stay. I booked this room for 5 days and later i again booked the same hotel because of the good behaviour and attendiveness of the staff. Cleanliness and parking space of the hotel is also very good

Hotel Shalimar Metro is just 2 mins walking from Ernakulam Junction & 1km from ernakulam bus stand..Path to the hotel is very isolated though there is nothing to be afraid of.Rooms and service of the hotel for the amount paid deserves five star.I personally booked this hotel for a single night a non AC room for approx Rs.750 through make my trip but it was too hot in Kochi so I spoke to owner and got AC in my room turned on for extra Rs.400.Hot water facility is available here & there is a TV aswell with all the entertainment channels.
if you want to spend a single night in ernakulam you can opt for this place.
