This pump is on my route from Kakkanad to my shop at Kothamangalam. It is now a Nayara outlet. Last evening I had a shocking incident. Filled 500 worth diesel on my return trip. I had already filled 500 worth in the morning from a Bharat outlet a few kilometres from Karimugal, much before Kadairippu. 500 worth diesel is sufficient for a to and fro trip of about 90 km. Since the gauge was showing low but no warning light i stopped and filled at this pump . Usually the same pump fills a bit slowly but quantity is assured. But yesterday after leaving the pump i realised that the filling was superfast, plus gauge hadn't gone up much, but I did not think much of it until I was a little beyond Info Park when my fuel gauge dropped and warning light came on ! Is it possible to run out of 500 worth diesel within such a short distance?
Something was seriously wrong, and it is not with my car.
I had been a regular customer of Essar at Valakom and now had been of Nayara at Mangalathunada and Vennala, because Essar/ Nayara never short fills when refueling but after yesterday i wouldn't be going there again, I just cannot afford it!
I pay cash so there will be no record of sale but the CCTV should show a silver coloured Palio around 9 pm yesterday and a silver coloured Duster on some days around 11.30-12 afternoon.
Some of the people there might know me because I sometimes pour my coconut oil based premix before filling diesel.
No , I don't want to check the measurement with the testing bottle. My experience tells me otherwise

After filling up from here, my bike started to turn off everynow and then (happened twice). It never used to happen before and vanished after filling up fuel from elsewhere. I am afraid the fuel quality is pretty bad.
