Highly recommended this place. We ordered chicken & prawns Friedrice and dragon chicken. It taste awesome.The portion size is really good , one full plate of fried rice / noodles are ordered it can easily fill two to three peoples easily. staff are polite and well mannered. One of the go-to restaurants for Chinese cuisine in Ernakulam. Have been visiting this place for more than 10 years and the dishes have been pretty consistent when it comes to taste. Their pork dishes and soups are worth trying.

One of the best Chinese restaurant in Kochi.
I went to their Kacheripady branch. The exterior is just like a typical Chinese building and the interior is pretty much spaced. But it is usually packed. We waited for quite some time to dine in. The atmosphere was too busy and filled with people rushing here and there. But all those got compensated with their food. We ordered a pork and prawns noodles and chicken & pork noodles. Both were simply awesome and the best ever noodles I've ever tried out since they kept that authentic touch as well as the quality of the ingredients used was also the best. Pork & prawns was my personal favorite. The portion size of one noodles was also sufficient for two average people. So if you wanna have some real Chinese dishes, Chiyang is one of the best options out there.

Always love to eat there mixed noodles and spl chilly pork….. they always provide tasty food and color-free also…. The quantity is also much better…. For 2 persons one mixed noodles and one chillypork will be more than enough…

This is a 37 year old restaurant located in the heart of Ernakulam town. Amazing food and service. The standards have always gone up over the past 3 decades. For best ambience, visit the the oldest part of the restaurant which is on the first floor, the air conditioned section. The menu is very elaborate and interesting. Quantity and quality of food served is very good.

If we want to have some authentic Chinese food at affordable rates, Chiyang is one of the best option in the town. Restaurant is in the city center and we have sufficient space for car parking. The restaurant is with proper decor and seating and mostly not very crowded, so that we can relax and enjoy our food. The dishes I prefer are Mixed fried rice with chilly pork or chilly prawns and items like schezwan noodles, chilli chicken, hakka noodles, garlic chicken etc. are also tasty. I have been to the restaurant several times with family and friends and though the restaurant is near my residence, the quality of the food and friendly service are the factors which make us visit the restaurant again.

Great Chinese food. Food is well prepared and tasty. Only thing you need to be aware of is that the quantity is big. So even half of a platter serves two people.

You get to enjoy the perfect Chinese dishes here. The seating capacity was almost full the day I visited the place. I ordered chiyang mixed noodles, chiyang egg fried rice and boneless chilli chicken. It took around 20 minutes for the order to be served. Seating capacity was almost fully occupied. You may ask them to parcel the food if you couldn't finish it because quantity is a bit more than what you find in other restaurants.
