Private property. But Well maintained.More than government museum.
Lot of wax dolls of world wide celebrities .
Must visit place for children.
The wax dolls are worth seeing. High quality . Looks like original persons.
The place is very small, so little congested . More than 20 persons can not enter at a time. Small patches of people at a time entering the museum is best.

Wax museum has some of the famous personalities and main occurrences in history (Mahatma Gandhi, Krishna Rada, Last supper,..). But not many are there. The workmanship is good. (Pls don't compare with another abroad wax museum). They've cartoon section also which is very small and that is not wax. Both sections are 40rs each. Can visit once.

Wax Museum in Kodaikanal is like any port in the storm. And its part of the round trip of points around Kodaikanal. It has an entry fee of 60 rupees and once you enter you can see wax statues of Krishna-Radha, Gandjiji, Ramakrishna Paramhansa, Sharda Devi, St Alphonsa, St Francis Xavier etc.

Good place. Nice experience. If you have already visited wax museums else where, you may not find this interesting. But for first time viewers, it's a must to go place. Some of the statues does pose a realistic look. Not just for kids, it's interesting for all age groups. Total viewing time may be around 10 minutes or more depending on your pace.

Neatly maintained place with beautiful wax statue.... There is a seperate area available here for kids filled with statutes of cartoon characters... Around 10 statues are available with different themes and religious significance but 50 rupee entry fees appears to be costly for this place....

All the statues here are very realistic. Highly recommended. They are not funded by anyone, so maintenance is poor. However their work is excellent. Please visit and encourage them

We enjoyed a lot. But why Kodaikanal tourism has not included it in their list of tourist spots? Also it is not at all well maintained. It is such a good museum but Indian govt not at all aware of it.
