Palaaram Kakkanad

A good restaurant with good ambience. We tried the Chicken Broth Soup which was good. The charcoal chicken comes with a side of rice / chappathi as per our choice also was good and we also tried the chicken noodles which tasted decent .. The roti and mushroom tasted average.

Nice atmosphere! I visited here with my roommate and had Perunnal Choru, similar to Chattichoru. It includes neychore, 2 pieces of fried chicken, chicken curry, gravy, pappadam, salad, and beef roast. We ordered Ginger Lime and Lime Tea as drinks. If you're planning a get-together or other team functions, I recommend this place. There are plenty of traditional recipes available.

Palaram is our go to restaurant any time in Kakkanad. Even though their price is high, they deliver quality food. Recently we tried their Peri Peri Alfarm. Chicken was juicy & well cooked

I am Palaram’s prime customer for the past 5 years. Their food quality is commendable! You will feel the quality in your mouth. Most of the dishes are spices rich. Never miss their homely taste if you visit kochi.

Atmosphere: they serve breakfast and baked items on the ground floor outlet. ( which is a small space with around 4 tables)
From noon 🕛 their restaurant opens in the basement. Warmly lighted with melo music.

Service : Very polite

Tasty food .. what ever we ordered all were above avarage .. cost also above avarage ;) . But feels like good . Waiting time for many of the items are 15-30 mins .. parking for the crowd is inadequate. But wallet parking is available . We had a platter and kunjipathiri with beef ...

A great family place - I think palaaram is a great eatery option around kakkanad. Their menu is quite extensive and has a wide range of delicacies to choose from. The staff is extremely cordial and attentive. The service is tad bit slow but the food is fresh. It's a bit on the expensive side but the price is justified by the quality of food and service.

One of the best restaurants in Kochi. Sound menu with delicious, traditional, local cuisine. Nice ambience. There is a separate shop for tea & snacks as well.

Sufficient staff, but sometimes they loose track of the orders. Located in a convenient location but vehicle parking seems to be a big problem. At night the vehicles can be parked in nearby shop areas. Are they costly? yes, even a coffee cost Rs. 30/-, but yeah the quality comes with a price, but still overpriced.

The food was awesome and I loved their erachipidi , The Appam and Kattan stew 😋 it's mouth watering and delicious

One of the best restaurants in Kochi where we can feel the Malabar recipes.
I have tried few dishes in the hotel and all seems to be favorite.
Suggested dishes - Pernal Choru, Kozhi Pidi and Pathiri thengapaal + beef gravy.

Palaaram looks very inviting and the food too is very delicious. I love the way how they have installed various art elements. They commit themselves that they do not use any artificial flavors and colors. I have been to the North Paravoor outlet of Palaaram. On visiting this outlet, I find it to be much spacious and with lot of in-house dining options to choose from.

A minor downside is that the restaurant is on a lower floor and is accessible via a fleet of stairs which the elederly and kids may find a bit of a trek. The bearers are always ready to serve you. The dinining area is fully air-conditioned and pristine. The ambient lighting is very soothing. The wash area too is very clean. The choice of soft music they played while I was there was also nice.

I had one egg noodles and one dragon chicken. Both the taste and the quantity was simply overwhelming. Planning to visit again with family.

Great ambiance and seating arrangements. There is always someone in charge of the floor to guide the seats. There are times when you have to wait during rush hour.

The food was hygenic and delicious. They provide food at reasonable prices. A strain of Biryani's and rice available with a combination of Al Faham. The chicken is tender and the rice is filled with flavors.

The staff was very courteous and helpful. 💯

Awesome place to have lunch or dinner with family. Moody lighting give this place a good ambiance. Quantity and quality is good. Most of the South Indian and North Indian dishes are very tasty. Bit on the priceir side but considering the quality it's worth it.

* Ginger Lime - not that good, was too gingery

Palaaram located near Vallathol junction, Kakkanad. Very good food. Nice ambience. Good service. Limited parking space. Mostly crowded during weekends. Rates are on par with the quality of food served. Palaaram never disappoints when you feel like to have homely tastes. Bakery located on ground floor and dine-in is on the basement floor.
