Jhalana Panther Safari- Wild Trail Safari

As our Rajasthan tour duration was shortened we had to drop our plan for Ranthambore. But as we explored the nearby forests, we came by Jhalana Panther Reserve. This is a very less known place so it's not too crowded like other parts of Rajasthan. This forest spans around 20-25 sq km and hosts approximately 35 leopards so there is a high chance of sighting. We were extremely lucky to spot 6 different leopards. Apart from leopards, we spotted Nilgai-largest Antelope in Asia, owls, peacocks, deer and several other birds and animals. The safari driver told us there are a few Hyenas as well but its spotting is rare.

Safari usually starts after sunrise so timings will vary from 6-7 a.m. and lasts around 2-3 hours. Safari bookings available via RTDC or agents. Booking through agents is usually 2-3 times higher, but the option of booking an entire jeep was not available in the government booking portal when we did safari bookings. We opted for a jeep while booking but got a canter. Canters here are electric so animals don't run away by approaching vehicle sound as these are very quiet.

This place is just 20-30 minutes by cab from Vani park, MI road area; so if anyone is looking for a nature connection in Jaipur they can definitely try out this place.

Truly a beautiful and mesmerizing experience! The drivers were skilled and the tour guides were highly enthusiastic and made the safari way more fun! Definitely a must for nature enjoyers. Mind blowing to see all the exquisite creations of nature, and experience the serenity. So, go and have a gala time with your family and friends!

It was an amazing experience there. Best place to enjoy the real scenic beauty of a jungle. It was great witnessing all these rare animals in the own habitat.

It’s was wonderful experience with Jhalana wild safari, sighting was awesome we saw three leapords in evening safari. Driver is also good with his knowledge about jhalana leapords. Jeep was very clean and comfortable.
