Agar yaha nahi khaya to kaha khaya place... The food is lip smacking guys.. I'm writing this review almost 2 months later but I very clearly remember how the food tasted. 11/10 for food and kudos to the chef.. the food here is cheaper than any fancy restaurant and it is delicious!! The serving tales some time but it's worth it.. the staff is very friendly and genuine... It's a small cafe around Jagdish temple.. we visited here thrice o. Our vacation at udaipur.. ended up overeating but worth it.. happy vacations!

Been here 3 times in 3 days for food and it's been amazing. It's been the best place for food in the 3 weeks of being in India. Everything is cooked to order so you get amazing fresh flavours. Some of the best meals in my opinion are the hydrabadi mutton, egg curry, and palak paneer. The papad with the green dip is also lovely when waiting with a beer for your meal.

One of the most amazing places to have authentic Rajasthani cuisine, Chef Raju is so humble and made the food as per pur taste. Everything is wonderful and the hotel is not very costly, good food and a beautiful ambience. Will make you feel at home and the food is of very good quality. Thank you Raju ji for having us and making one of the best laal maas with naan.

This is my favourite restaurant in Udaipur! Owner/chef Raju will cook anything to your taste, so you can enjoy not too spicy like me! He cooks veg dishes, meat dishes and great papad whilst waiting for your food. Great venue for Indians and foreigners alike. Highly recommend this restaurant!

The food was awesome n prices are also cheap.
Ambience is very good. Through the place is not big I think 4-5 tables on ground floor and arrangement for seating on mattress on 1st floor.
You should try once. It's very near to the city palace.

Food is absolutely fantastic- chef makes it just how you like it. The place however is small and unimpressive from the outside but can’t beat the food.

I definitely recommend this restaurant. The food was very delicious. I had a paneer butter masala and I shared a Thali with my partner.
The staff is good and friendly and the atmosphere very nice too (go on the top if you can).
The price is also very good for the high quality they serve.
😊😊

We went to have dinner and it was really nice. The food good, and with a good price. We try the Dum Aloo Makhani AMAZING, a Thali and for dessert the famous Gulab Jamun again really good. Totally recommend!

Just ate at this Hogwarts Cafe, and I really like it. I was staying at a Hotel just 300ft from this cafe, and stopped in for a quick bite. Its Harry Potter themed, and who doesn't like that (if you don't you either haven't read the books, or have something wrong with you).
The atmosphere is cool, and there was some nice toons playing in the background. I can see this as a nice local hangout.
The Lime Soda was great (mint, lime, sugar maybe a hint of salt?). And I got the Red Pasta (I've seen it at many restaurants since I've been in India and it sounded good). Nice dish with a good combination of spices. They have a lot of other foods that sounded good.
And the staff was super friendly and provided great service.

The Indian food here is amazing. The chef is a really good cooker. We tried so many different places in the city and always come back here during our week in Udaipur. A lot of flavour, so good !

An excellent little restaurant - we went three times in three days. The location is nice, quieter than the Gangaur Ghat madness. Very cheap, too - at time of review a pot of masala tea is 50 INR, mains between 100 and 150, chapati 5 INR! Food quality is good (though we found the korma to be subpar). Best of all, the owner, waiters, and cook were incredibly kind and welcoming. They also offer cooking classes for 400 INR. It's less a traditional class where you chop and fry food than a chance to see the owner prepare food, but 400 INR buys you tea, an entree, chapati and biryani, plus the chance to see it all made and to ask any questions about the recipes. We considered it an excellent value. This was one of our best restaurant experiences over two weeks so far in India.

Amazing food, great service, ambience, price and decoration. From the outside this place looks charming and modern and inside the place is warm and brings an authentic Indian feel to your meal. We ordered kabab and chicken korma. The kabab was tasty with every bite and I could not control my sighs of pleasure as I ate each piece. The chicken korma was delightful, mysterious and surprising, different than any korma I have had before. After spending the past week in Mumbai and Goa, and the prior 3 days in Bangkok, this place has been the most delicious food I have had on my vacation.

Really nice food and staff were really nice. Super super cheap as well. I had meat there also (chicken curry) and I had no problems (I know most travel forums advise against meat eating in India for fear of ‘Delhi Belly’ but don’t believe the hype), it was actually really good 👌
